Well i was thinking about HQ's and i thought which HQ has the most wounds and how much?

From GW's selection, I'd reckon Angron for Chaos. Dude 's got 5 wounds.

I think that Tervigons are pretty nasty as well, as they got 6 wounds.

Nid Tervigons have got 6 wounds, think great unclean ones have got quite a few as well

Mortarion has 7.

An'ggrath the unbound has 8 wounds but its only apocalypse.

It Probably doesn't count but a inquisitor with daemon blades could have up to 10.

Even every pesky Chaos Champion _could_ get up to 10. Thats not that special.

The Doom isn't an HQ though. He is probably the one model that can most easily reach 10 wounds, though.

I hate the Doom. It just deep strikes and then starts to suck up wounds :(

And Champions of Chaos can't get more than +1 wound, because I'm pretty sure you have to reroll boons that you've already gotten.

Yeah, but Mortarion's rules are from Forgeworld, aren't they? I'd expect FW to work out the Primarchs a bit more on the "epic legend" side, closer to the HH novels to which they seem to have connected with some of their recent products.

Not that it matters much - I was still wrong, as some dakkanauts have already posted other examples directly from GW's line that have more wounds.

In 2nd edition you could take a nurgle chaos spawn special character that had 18 wounds on his profile.

He even healed wounds, when he caused wounds.

I know they're not even close to having the most wounds, but it amuses me how IG Company Commanders have 3 wounds. An ordinary human with as many wounds as a Space Marine Captain..,the IG are just that hard.
