One of the Plague Marines I'm painting has got some fleshy looking growths on him, but try as I might I'm not doing a very good job on them. How do you guys normally paint these bits and get them looking all nice and nasty?
Here's how I did my Nurgle Marines. The growths are painted flat Bleached Bone then given a wash of Chestnut Ink and finally a wash of Vallejo Smokey ink. The Nurgle symbols in the centre are done with Red Gore then a highlight of Blood Red with the same inks as above.
Hope that gives a little inspiration.
