I have no idea why anyone would need this, but it is so adorable

To celebrate the authentication of Richard III's remains in Leicester we present 'Richard III....the return of the King', a fairly impromptu model of himself bursting through the tarmac of a car pack. It isn't quite finished and we will probably put in the range if there is enough interest.........

I dont know why but I must have this.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

Can somebody of an English persuasion please tell me what the general perception of Richard III is in England? I was reading up on him as best I could, but I'm still curious as to what the Brits have to say...

Shakespeare's Richard III should give you the general impression of the guy.

Well, aside from the fact that the play was commissioned by the ruling powers that hated his guts at the time.

The general impression of Richard III is not good, mainly based on Shakespear, so a murderous hunchback who userped the throne from his nephews and the had them killed (the 2 princes in the tower)

On a more balanced note he was a brave and loyal follower of his brother the king, fighting in battle by about 18, and acting as a capable commander by 25, so if he did have a hunchback due to his scoliosis (curvature of the spine) it didn't effect his physical activity.

However once his brother died he declared himself Regent for his young Nephew (not a bad thing in itself), but shortly thereafter declared himself King and his Nephews 'dissapeared' (it does seem likely he had them killed). However he was a good King (by the standards of his time), and his overthrow a couple of years later was motivated by personal ambition more than in respose to anything he had done

York, North Yorkshire, England

Being from York myself and Richard III being the last King of the house of York along with the current petition to have his remains brought back to York and buried in the Minister I have enough reasons why this miniature needs to be in my possession.

The disabled car parking space however steals the show. Amazing idea.
