Subject: Reaper Bones: Vampire level unloading video
Reaper Bryan has posted a fun timelapse of them unloading 5000 vampire level boxes ready for KS fulfillment in March. He also says they now have all the Vampire stuff in house and are only waiting for the 'optional extras'

Well, 2 of those Vampires are mine. I know one guy on the Reaper forums got TWELVE, several others got 4-6.
I wonder how many of the Vampire sets they have are for backers and how many are set for retailers? I know Paizo is selling full Vampire pledges for about $360 per set, so I'm guessing they invested in a bunch of them

When the time comes, I'd like to trade out some of that Chronoscope stuff for fantasy if any of you are interested.
I'm really curious as to how these guys are going to be for painting.
The generic fighter guy I picked up was pretty good. Wondering how the bigger stuff will go together with glue, or if I'm going to have to pin them.
At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

So that looks like 2 vampire levels per box, judging by the size of those boxes and comparing it to their vamp level unboxing vid.
Kind of surprised they bother with an extra box around two boxes, instead of just not boxing them or boxing 10-20 of them at a time.
Any sensible reason for that? this feels like a bit of a waste, almost (aside from not being very practical).

It could simply be that's the only standard size of box the Chinese factory is set up to handle (via automation).
It's does all sorts of other stuff as well as Reapers Bones, so using one of the boxes they can easily source that also fits the custom Vampire boxes may be easier than having to track down larger boxes (and potentially machinery to seal them)

Yeah, I figure it has something to do with that, but don't those chinese factories still do stuff like that by hand? I get that sourcing non-standard stuff can take a few hours but cardboard boxes are hardly the hardest things to get custom-made and we're talking 20K+ units here ah well, not all that important, really.

It'd fit better there, keep the board a bit neater.
Feel free to post it in said thread.
The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
