These are definitely some of the greatest IG characters I've seen. Really great job here.

I particularly like the fellow reading the tablet. I haven't seen a model like that before. If you don't mind me asking, is it a conversion or something you built yourself? Remarkable stuff, either way.

The golds started out as taucept ochre, lightened with a yellow white, all the way to the highlights. Then I did a series of glazes, mixing together a variety of glaze colors. Where i wanted a warmer gold, I used more sepia and reds (even a little purple), and then a mix of green and black in the darkest darks where I wanted it to be cooler.

The reds started out as a mix of scab red and regal blue, darkened with even more regal blue. I did a few glazes to darken that further. I worked back to the scab red, and then started to lighten it with vomit brown. That keeps it from getting too pink as it becomes lighter...

Hopefully that info is helpful! There are a number of step by steps on the blog of gold and red, mostly in the Grey Knights posts. I will see if I can hunt some of those down...
