Thanks! Hm, it has been a bit since I painted something purple or pink...

Thank you!

So, I have a confession. I painted some space marines... as an established Chapter. That's right, I painted some Salamanders. Heresy Salamanders even.

I know! Normally I like to do my own thing but I've had these guys lying around for a while and I found a green that I really like, so Salamanders it is. I did give one of them a pet frog.

Phew! I was worried for a while, but then I spotted the frog! Close enough to a real salamander. The Mk3 dudes look great as Salamanders, good paint job you’ve given them turtles

Thanks! I should see if I can find any genuine salamander critters out there. But for now, one more Space marineish Salamander, with a friend.

(It's a lego frog)

That’s Lego? Seems a pretty good fit scale wise

It worked surprisingly well! I also have a lego otter, but that ones a bit bigger. Adorable, but bigger.

Also! I finally painted a marine with a frog that I put together... a while ago. He's a salamander too now. Ah well.

Look at those paints. Thin your paints, me!

Amphibian solidarity! Nice work as always.

Thank you! Amphibians gotta stick together. With mucus, probably.

So... I picked up another new paint, and I ended up really liking it. So much, that I decided to repaint all the primaris marines I have left.

Spoiler:

(There's more than this, but this is what I have done)

I even used a wash, even! They are red now, but they're still Void Otters. The void is represented by purple shoulders. They are absolutely not Blood anything.

That is a nice red! And the wash looks a good addition too

Belated thanks!

I've decided to go back to my roots. My otter roots.

Well they are a nice complimenting shade.

Cheers,
