2000 points. One standard force organization.

3 rounds.

Prizes and trophies, for at least the top 3 spots.

Desperate allies count as allies of convenience.

Models do not need to be painted, but must by WYSIWYG. No 'counts as'. No half built models. No "I'm using X as Y" .

If you have a question about models, give mike clark a call, or email at Mikenjudyc@aol.com

Muster at 10am, Pairings at 10:30 and rolling dice immediately. We start on time. Don't be late.

10.00 cost

....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.

DA and chaos are desperate allies? I thought they were COME THE APOCALYPSE.

I thought this just meant you would not have to roll for one eye open.

What is Showcase Comic's stance on ForgeWorld models/units? Usable for this tournament or no?

You can use a FW model if it is a good fit for something else. Megadredd for a Deathdread, one of the Giant Spawns for a forgefiend, etc. As long as you tell your opponent exactly what they are, they are on the right sized base, and reasonably the same profile.

We are not allowing FW rules. We tried it, hardly anyone ever brought a model to use (despite the constant discussion), and at this point with FW no longer letting a FLGS stock the books, I don't have the easy access to rules that I used to have.

So, FW models are usable, FW rules are not.

Well that's a crying shame... folks are missing out!

Not really missing out, since in the two years I allowed people to use FW models and some of the army lists, i only saw them hit the table less than a half dozen times. Some one brought blight drones once. I remember a DKoK list showing up once. And honestly don't remember anything else.

With no players bringing the models for that time, I don't feel there is much of a real demand to use them. Endless discussions on the internet, but it seems to not make it to the tabletop.

Any limitations of fortifications?

No, we haven't been limiting fortifications.

I just ask that people really know the rules on any fortifications used, especially how the emplaced guns/gun emplacements work, etc.

Are you making lunch????

Let's be honest....I come, go 0-3, eat, talk with you, leave a winner IMHO.

.Only a fool believes there is such a thing as price gouging. Things have value determined by the creator or merchant. If you don't agree with that value, you are free not to purchase.

Lol Hobbs, that's about the size of it for when I make it up there, too . Which I've been meaning to, I can't believe how long it's been! I've gotten spoiled with the two hobby stores around here expanding, though (Dropzone Games, and Games 'n Stuff).
