Ive got a team tournament ticjet and 3 open spots for team members, im bringing necrons and would prefer fellow xeno players, experiance and painting skills a big plus. Hit me up with what army you have and if yiuve played in this tournament before.

So you bought a team ticket and you do not have a team?

Maybe you should let your ticket go an make way for a team that is on the waiting list.

Hey Patrick wish I could take you up on this but not this year. (Just got promoted and have to stay close to work for the time being.) Next year if you want to try again I think I would be in. I know Walt is going to Adepticon to play fantasy but he might be up for playing Daemons in the team event.

Id be down for next year vern. Hopefully i can run Into walt and see how hes doing, not sure about his deamons considering theyare more than likely square based for fantasy.

If the entire rest of your team has dropped, the more sportsmanlike approach may be to drop your slot, take your refund, and then attend the Team Tourney with the intent to fill in a slot in a team which has had a last-minute drop.

Every year I seem to see one or two teams in this situation, desperately trying to fill one or two slots at the last minute. If you do take this approach, you are most likely personally still going to be able to play, AND you help facilitate TWO other teams of guys getting to play.

Just a thought.

Ive been to adepticon several times before as well, and have seen teams look for other players last minute, which is why im looking now. You cant gaurante that ill find a spot and im not about to give up my slot on a possibility. If you know of anyone who is looking for a fourth let me know. Then i would give up my slot.

Keep an eye on the Adeptus Windy City forums as well. I usually see folks post openings there.

I know the feeling believe me as i had to drop my team as one member needed surgery but is it really fair to bar someone else because you won't take your ball and go home? At least this way you get your money back.

Sorry but I dont see it that way, by the sounds the ticket is in high demand but if you didnt get a ticket you didnt get a ticket, dont moan at someone that has it is his ticket to do what he wants with really.

I had one but we had a member this past week find out he needed surgery so i am not moaning that i didn't get one as you put it but passing on words of wisdom much like Mannheim.

I guess my question to the OP is how likely you think you are to be able to fill a full team? If the answer to that is not likely, then all you end up doing is paying for an event you don't play and bar another team from playing. I agree with those that say, if you are a solo player find a team to join with. Were I you I might even contact the event organizers as they may know of people looking for members.

I think that ill be able to find a team pretty easily, the closer it gets to the tournament the more people will be available.

If he wants to play let him. I have a friend who might want to play with you. I will send him this link. He plays necrons.

Nobody's stopping him. Just suggesting that he can almost certainly still play, while letting another team get a chance to participate. It's obviously his choice.
