My father found my oldest brother's RT era Landraider a few weeks back. This was my brother's very last 40k model he made before he completely quit from miniatures. He built it (poorly, I might add, model glue is all over it) and then abandoned it in my parents' garage for years. The thing has somehow survived a move and god only knows what else, but it isn't in the best shape now. It's missing all of its weapons and I'm pretty certain there's a few greeblies and panels missing from it as well. I'm thinking I might remake it into a Chaos Landraider, but before I do that, I need to replace its weapons. Is it possible to get replacements for the old kits anymore? Are there any 3rd party groups whose parts would work with this thing? What about the new GW tanks? Will their sponsons be able to replace the old ones?

those old land raiders are actually quite prized in the moment as a lot of people are doing pre-heresy armies, maybe you should try to look into that as well

Im in the same boat but I only have the two sides. I am going to use a cut down rhino as the inner chasis and the same weapons sprues as noted in the links above.

Good luck !
