Hi there! A friend of mine said you guys might like to see this, I hope this particular board is the right place! Not exactly the normal kind of stuff that gets posted!

I recently finished this guy. Striking scorpions were always my favourite aspect warriors, and being pretty into toys I went ahead and made an action figure! Once upon a time he was Spiderman. I hope you guys like him! If you want to find out a little bit more about him, I've got a writeup on my blog.

Thanks for looking!

You know what...that's pretty cool and a market I'm surprised gw never tapped into.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

You mean like T-shirts, or hats, or posters, or buttons, or any of the rest of that assorted chotchkies that all of us would absolutely purchase yet they refuse to market?

Looks really great! Fantastico!

Wow, that is very impressive! This looks like something Hasbro released (hope you dont consider that offensive--just means its professional quality). It would be awesome to see a whole line of 40k toys. You have done an amazing job and there is no shortage of detail.

As a collector of figures m'self, I have to say that's one of the finest original creations out there.

Yeah, wow. This is pretty friggin' sweet, and I, too, will echo the sentiment others have expressed; it's absolutely bewildering that GW doesn't license merch like action figures and t-shirts.

Wow, thank guys! What a response, I'm honoured I can never decide if it amazes me that GW don't do action figures or not - if they did, I guess there's potential that they could spoil sales of the minis. Plus production tooling is phenomenally expensive (as in, it can get into the hundreds of thousands when everything is taken into account). Still, I'd certainly love to see a bunch of DIY figures - blank yet poseable ones, 1/12 or even 1/6 scale. The amount of detail you can pack into this scale could make for some wonderful pieces! But T-shirts and all the other kinds of apparel... its mental that they don't do more. I think I recall a bolt pistol keyring existing.... more of those kinds of things!

Corpus, you should probably check this guy out! http://soulbrother73.deviantart.com/art/warhammer-40k-custom-ork-119341901?q=gallery%3Asoulbrother73%2F4699328&qo=10

and Element - not offended one bit, I'd really love to work for Hasbro one day!

Thanks again guys. If I do any more I'll let you know!
