Subject: Another Tau question! (Weapon options)

Tau suits, specifically the bodyguard suits, can take up to 3 weapons. In the weapons options, you have some items, like a fusion blaster listed as Cost x/x+5 where x+5 is the cost of "two which count as twin-linked and take 2 choices". My question is, can I still choose to take 2 singles of the same weapon (to take advantage of suits ability to fire 2 weapons) or do I have to take 2 different weapons in or to shoot 2 different things? I think you can take 2 singles, I'm just not 100%. Any help would be appreciated

My view is that yes, you can buy 2 single weapons.

I don't think you can. I think it's clearly specified that if you purchase two of the same weapon, then, like it or not, it's considered twin-linked.

It's better if you search through google "dakkadakka: what you are searching for"

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.
