The reason i ask is because i'm selling off a load of LE fig's i've gathered over the years and since i'm getting a mate to put them on ebay i need to know rough values so i can work out the reserve and how much of my wages i need to put towards a 360 and oblivion . the figs in question are:

Malus Darkblade on foot (from the DE roadshow they had a few years back, i forget its name)

Dark angels sergant (from the hunt for cypher roadshow(i think that was its name))

black orc warboss games day figure (2000)

Kroot master shaper (2001)

Chaos champion (2002)

all are unopened, still in the blister.

I appreciate the time anyones spent looking at this, cheers

Best way I found to figure this sort of thing out is to do a search through completed items on Ebay. And then making an average out of the various numbers you get (find at least 3 or 4).

It really tends to vary, depending on how many of that particular figure have been listed around the same time. But as a rough guesstimate...

Malus Darkblade on foot (from the DE roadshow they had a few years back, i forget its name)

Generally pretty popular, anywhere from US$30-75

Dark angels sergant (from the hunt for cypher roadshow(i think that was its name))

Bugger all. US$15-20 if you're lucky... this figure was everywhere not too long ago.

black orc warboss games day figure (2000)
Kroot master shaper (2001)

Games Day figures more than a couple of years old generally go around the US$20-40 mark, although can sometimes be a little higher

Chaos champion (2002)

Nobody seems to really want this guy. Similar prices to the Dark Angel, from what I've seen.

I just got the kroot master shaper off of e-bay for $9.50 on a second chance offer, which is odd since the winning bid was $24 and there were several higher bids than $9.50.

Wasn't from Brazil was it? If so, I'd be almost certain it's a recast. All the bidders above you would have received 2nd Chance offers as well.

but I am curious as to how much the space marines "Iwo Jima" diorama is going for

I've seen that one go for anything from US$20-100... usually around the $50 mark I think.

Nope, it was from Ohio. I suppose it could still be a recast, though.

Yeah, there's plenty of recasters in the US, but there's also quite a few who simply stock up on the ltd ed stuff when they can get it, particularly since the US web store started selling the Ltd Eds through mail order from time to time.

I mentioned Brazil purely because I don't think I've come across any Brazillian sellers who weren't recasters, and they've been quite common over the last year or so.

Anyone know the average prices for the "at attention" cadians? They're the ones in the codex that were painted in different color schemes. They're two to a blister.

They are on sale at the GW online store in the spotlight section for $15 for the blister. Not quite so limited.

Standing outside Jester's house demanding the things he took from my underwear drawer.

I just sold all my Lmtd. Editions last winter to pay for my new Tau.

I got about $17 for mt DA Sgt., but that was a few months ago.

I got about $50 each for my Black Orcs.  Hold 'em a few months and the new army book may drive the price up more.

The master shaper usually goes about $8-$15.

I've seen the Chaos Champion go for around $20.00 - $25.00 usually.

I've seen the Reaper Exarch with both weapon options and both look like things you can buy in sex shops. A weapon should not look like this, not even a Emperor's Children weapon. -Symbio Joe

Well, they're still in limited quantities... the Online store includes the number of them that they have left. nce they're gone, they're gone, but I suspect it will be a few years before they are worth anything.

at least, until they put them up for sale again. This has to be the third time i have seen them for sale on the US GW site.

Pardon my skepitcism on Limited models. I remember having three limited BT champion models (not the 25th anniversary model) and they usually went for $50 minimum. Every so often, you see them for sale on various GW sites.

Now the skullz kits and black library stuff. Those are truly limited as far as I know. I havent seen them for sale anywhere besides third party places. I have seen a 1999? GD Ork for sale in blister pack at a local hobby shop at that time though.

Anyone know what the old Christmas marines go for? They have a yuletree design on their shoulder and are obviously singing, drunk, and waving tankards.

Do not use the CLEAR dice!

Dear Whiny Space Marine Players,
you get 3+ armor saves on all your troops (save scouts), Assault cannons, a huge assortment of vehicles and weapons, arguably one of the best if not THE best tank in the game, funny helmets, and a partrige in a pear tree.

suck it up, space marines. You're the emperor's chosen superhuman warriors. stop whining like a guardsmen and take it like a superman!

They used to do quite well... one of the recasters sold a bunch of them recently though, so the prices dropped quite a bit. I'd hang onto them for a few years.
