Hello dakka! Seems like I post a lot on here lately, but it's always nice to get a second opinion from people more experienced than me who can point out things that I wouldn't normally notice. Also, when working on theoretical lists, it's nice to not waste money on something that may not necessarily work as well as I think it might. The only models I own are 3 TAC squads, a libby, 2 rhinos and a stormtalon, so I'm up to buying other things. But, before I post the list a little disclaimer: this is not meant to be super competitive, only good enough to work at my FLGS' monthly tournaments so you'll notice a lack of vendettas (I don't want to use them honestly). There is a grand total of one flyer at my store, so that's why I'm not worried about anti-flyer in this list, so you'll notice a lack of that too. But I'm hoping for some good advice and if there is anything I should change about this list. I should not that I had hoped to fit a hellhound or two in this list, but couldn't find the points so if anyone has some suggestions on how I can do that without compromising this list I would greatly appreciate it. I found I just couldn't fit it with the LRs I wanted too. Anyway on to the list!
HQ:
Librarian + Force Dome + Null Zone =100
Lord Commissar= 70
(Both in IG Blob)
Troops:
10x Tac + MG + MM + CM + Rhino =220
10x Tac + F+ ML + CP + Rhino= 215
Platoon Command Squad + 4x Flamers = 50
4x Infantry Squads + 4x MG + 4x Autocannons = 280
Fast Attack:
2x Stormtalon Gunship + Skyhammer Missles = 250
Heavy Support:
2x Predators with Lascannon Sponsons= 240
2x Leman Russ Demolishers = 330
Total: 1,755
Also as a last note, if it helps I play against mostly foot marines/grey knights, 48x Firewarrior tau w/ Eldar allies, and Shooty Dark Eldar.

I'm not familiar with Space Marines however why do you pair autocannons with melta-guns. Its like having a knife and sniper rifle as your loadout in a game,
2 totally different weapons in range. IMO I would give the MG's to veterans or a specific squad and the autocannons to others.
Perhaps make this army more mobile, I think your IG should go first rather than the SM's

That is a good point about the meltas. I hadn't thought about the odd set up. I think I was more worried about the deep striking termies and dread knights that my group seems to favor so I wanted some ap2. But I could probably shift points around into lascannons for both ap2 and the anti tank Id like.
I had considered using the imperial guard first but I feel imperial guard compliments SM more than SM compliments IG. What would you do if you were to put the IG first?

--Leman Russ Demolishers in a squadron are gonna be unwieldy in combination with the blob (in my opinion). Main reason why I'd go IG primary (assuming the LRD's are as important to you as they seem).
--Don't see much point in taking a lord comissar with the units you have taken. His big claim is his ld bubble and you aren't really taking advantage (no hvy weapon teams or FW artillery). A company command with vox will make the blob much more deadly with the good orders.
List I'd make that keeps with the general idea and units you seem to want (for the most part)
IG w/ SM allies
Company Command: Vox
Platoon Command: Vox (or mortar)
Inf Squad: Plasma Gun, Power Axe, Melta Bomb, Vox
Inf Squad: Plasma Gun, Power Axe, Melta Bomb

Demolishers aren't that important to me to be honest. I chose them mainly because they were cheaper than executioners but were still packing AP2 so I could deal with termies better. I'd like to take the standard LRBT because they are cheaper points wise but I've read that they are the least liked versions of the leman Russ. But I see what you mean about the squadron. It could be overkill on a squad if I dropped two str 10 templates on a squad... But who said that was a bad thing  . I do like this list better although. Has the hellhounds that I would so dearly love (especially against the gun line tau. So many dead firewarriors). Would the power axes be better placed in te command squad to take adv of their ballistic skill 4?

Suggestions for the orig list.
HQ:
Consider going epistolary to allow you to use 2 powers a turn. Force dome is before movement and null is at shooting. Allows you to 5+ your blob and make Invulnerable re-rolls same turn. this is an invaluable combo.
I would suggest going with a CCS in chimera with 3-4 plasma or melta. Now you have some ap2 weapons working with null zone. If points dont allow for this go with a Primarus Psycher and roll on the biomancy chart.
- Dump the preds and go for 2 TFC's ignore cover, s6 or making movement difficult is awsome. Better than the preds.
- save points by going bare bones PCS. Only gear them if you have extra points.
- Go one Demolisher and add an ageis line for him to sit behind. Your blob can also start behind it for the 4+ cover
- Add a vendetta- now you have nice anti air and good ground force killing Dakka combined with the talons.
- Not a huge fan of the autocannons or the specials. I would go with Power Axe Sgts only and add nades to the squads "if" points allow.
- If Points Allow:
Add a 5th Platoon squad

IMO a vendetta with a squad of veterans armed with 2-3x PG's would give your list more Dakka and anti-vehicle Dakka
But since you don't feel like vendetta's and that you feel like IG compliments SM, use some of that awesome IG artillery
and follow a strategy of IG sit on objective, SM kill stuff
A manticore would help taking out your enemies 48x firewarriors, foot marines etc. Banewolf's also do the job well. Aegis
defense lines and perhaps a comm tower would allow your troops a 4+ cover save, useful for IG. IMO I like the blobs as is
except for the melta's, if you want MG take off flamers for PCS and shave off a guard squad for veterans with MG's.
