Moving flat out..

When I try to upload a picture to my gallery - it loads upside down.
When I try to flip it upside on my end and upload it - it still loads upside down.

It looks right side up on my computer.. not sure what I'm doing wrong or if dakka just doesn't like the pic of my guardians!

Thanks for any help..

Under the couch

Was the picture taken on a phone? I've found that phone pics seem to retain a specific orientation, even if they have been flipped rightside up in certain devices. So a phone pic taken with the phone upside down, and then flipped int he phone's image viewer will still upload upside down.

Not a problem I've had specifically on Dakka, but I ran across a similar issue with Facebook.

Lemme try to take another pic and see if that works.

Thanks!

You will want to check the EXIF Orientation of the picture. A lot of hand-held cameras and phones will set it correctly and Dakka seems to obey it too.

You truly learn something new on Dakka every day. I'd never heard of this orientation tag.
