Did the measuring distances aspect of the Interceptor rule ever get resolved?

Specifically, if a unit enters play from Reserves 54" away from a maned ADL QuadGun and ends it's Arriving from play movement 42" away from the QuadGun, may the QuadGun operator take Interceptor shots against it?

The last thread I could find on it was more focused on DS issues and ended up as a coin toss on the 'when to measure' distance question.

I thought the interceptor rules said it takes place at the end of the movement phase? I could be wrong, don't have a rulebook on me.

It does, the Interceptor rule on page 38 is quite clear when it happens (first sentence).

The only way people could be confused about this is if they're failing to read the first sentence of Interceptor.
