Bounding Dark Angels Assault Marine
|
HQ (370)
Illic Nightspear (140)
Karandas (230)
Elites (425)
2 x 5 Fire Dragons - Exarch Fast Shot, Fire Pike (2 x 145)
5 Striking Scorpions - Exarch Claw, Crushing Blow (135)
Troops (305)
3 x 5 Rangers (3 x 60)
5 Pathfinders (125)
Fast Attack (380)
5 Swooping Hawks - Exarch Sunrifle HnR(120)
2 x 5 Warp Spiders - Exarch Spinneret Rifle Fast Shot (2 x 130)
Heavy Support (520)
Wraithknight (240)
2 x Wraithlords Flamers and Bright Lance (2 x 140)
So the idea is that the Illic infiltrates with one squad of fire dragons and Karandas infiltrates with the other squad of fire dragons in cover near targets of interest if you expect to have the first turn. Rangers hide around the board planning to GtG as necessary and avoid getting killed. The hawks, spiders jump around cleaning up or finding targets of opportunity while the wraith constructs shoot/assualt whatever is left.
I suppose it is way short on AA and has squishy troops but might be fun otherwise

When you say infiltrate... do you mean outflank with them? Because it seems that a smart opponent would just keep their stuff off the board edges and just blast your dragons.

I don't think you can infiltrate unit without the rule, even if the IC has it.

Infiltrate attaching to a squad only allows them to outflank with that IC, not infiltrate during deployment.
Sad but true...so you also can't D-scythe things by infiltrating 1" away. LoL
