Anyone play this? Looks pretty cool, but just wanted to get some opinions.

I heard the models come assembled and primed, is that true? Are mold lines already removed too?

It is an OK game, but it lacks.... something. I see it suffering the same fate as AT 43 in my area, not enough players and too many other games to spend money on.

Base unit is around 20-25 bucks, then add in paint time, play, etc...

Models come .... in plastic, they can be painted right off.

I have 4 squads , one recon for each and one Bot killer/ heavy weapon squad for both Axis and Allies. Want them, PM me and I'll send you them and a building for 50 bucks.

Yes, the models are assembled and primed. But mould lines are not necessarily removed from them. They come off real easy though.

So far I'm enjoying the game, it's simple, straightforward but leaves you with some hard choices to make during the game. Best to see if there's a group in your area and go check it out.

It a good soild game. and with the relaunch coming and changing to Battlefront as distributor. Hopefully it will see new life in the game.

There are Dust players in the Baltimore metro area.

The figures do not have the detail that you get on an average Games Workshop model. However, they also lack major casting errors. One gripe that some people have is that the figures are made from a soft plastic, and because of this some of the guns are limp. This can usually be fixed by putting the figure in hot water.

The mold lines are not bad, and I am usually a stickler about such thing.

Being pre-primed is really nice, as the high humidity in Baltimore makes priming a risky proposition.

The game is solid. It is modern fast paced design.

Dust Warfare is played at Drop Zone Games in Glen Burnie.
If you google their site they have a gaming calendar and Tom, the owner, can probably link you with the folks who are playing the game.

Regarding priming in the Baltimore area: DropZone Games also has a priming booth available to store's customers.
The booth is indoors (the store is basically a warehouse and booth is in the back section but still inside) so humidity is much better controlled.

You have to use only the primers they have approved for the booth in order to NOT set the building on fire.
DZ's also got a ton of sit-and-paint stations for building and painting your models; stations have water jars, ceramic tile plates for use as palettes and individual swing-arm lights.
Highly recommend the store esp. if you live close by. I drive nearly 45 min. one-way to get there because it's that good.
