Hey hey guys, got my first taste of the Eldar codex on the weekend and i wasn't let down. Although my opponent didn't field the strongest list and also didn't have much of an idea of what my units did.

Eldar Warlord trait, 4, reroll saving throws of 1.
Dark Angels warlord trait, no effect in game.
Farseer powers: Guide, Doom, Executioner
Eldar won the roll to go first, they deployed jetbikes on either flank, dark reapers behind some cover in the middle, with most of the eldar mech behind them.
Dark Angels deployed Sammael with the ravenwing bikers and the attack bike in the middle behind one unit of devastators. With the black knights behind the other devastators on the flanks.
Eldar Turn 1
The farseer cast guide on the dark reapers, doom on the scouts. his squad of bikes moved up slightly and he cast executioner on the scouts, killing two scouts. With the remaining 3 out of line of sight.
The fire prism fired a large s5
ap 3 template into the middle devastators and the bikes, however it scattered badly and failed to wound.
The Scorpions Waveserpent (WS1) overcharged the shield and fired into the middle devastators killing one.
The Firedragons Waveserpent (WS2) overcharged the shield fired into the middle devastators killing two.
The two Warwalkers also fired into the middle devastators and killed another two.
The dark reapers wanting first blood fired their guided, ap3 s5 shots into the two remaining devastators and easily destroyed them for first blood.
The Windrider Jetbikes turbo boosted close to the relic in preparation to get it next turn.
The rangers took aim at the devastators opposite but the wound was saved.
Dark Angels Turn 1
The right black knights moved behind the tower. The right devastators fired 4 templates into the dark reapers getting 9 hits, but only wounded 4 times, and only 1 died.
The scouts missile launcher could only see the rangers and fired a template at them, but it scattered off.
The bikers with sammael moved out of line of sight of the main army behind the house.
The left devastators fired into the firedragons waveserpent (ws2) but only managed to stun it.
Eldar Turn 2
The crimson hunter came in and without any vehicles to target it moved on to get a shot on the right black knights, firing into them failing to do a wound.
The warp spiders dropped right behind the black knights and fired into them killing two.
The scorpions waveserpent (Ws1) overcharged an fired into the last black knight and killed it.
The farseer cast guide on the dark reapers and doomed the scouts. Doom was perils(1,1) and he used his last warp charge to save the wound. The farseers windrider jetbikes fired everything into the remaining scouts and wiped them out.
The dark reapers took aim at the devastators and wiped them out (I incorrectly treated the dark reapers as ignoring cover instead of just ignoring jinx) -should not have wiped them out as easily.
The fire prism fired into the barely visible bikers with a large template s5 ap3 but both wounds were saved.
The warwalkers couldn't see anything.
The wind rider jetbikes moved onto the relic then turbo boosted 6 inches to move the relic towards the right corner away from the
DA bikers.
Dark Angels Turn 2
Belial and the deathwing terminators deep struck next to the fire prism. The cyclone missile launcher fired into the fire prism but failed the penetrate, the remaining termies fired there storm bolters into the dark reapers but failed to kill any thanks to some good saves.
Sammael and the bikers moved within 6 inches of the windriders and fired into them only killing 1, then failing the 7 inch charge with a roll of 5.
The remaining black riders fired plasma into the war walkers and wrecked one.
The devastators fired into the waveserpent but failed to do anything.
Eldar Turn 3
The eldar army encircled belial and the deatwing terminators. The scorpions and firedragons disembarked from their waveserpent.
The Farseer guided the fire dragons and doomed the terminators.
The Fire prism fired a small blast s7
ap 2 template into the terminators but it scattered onto the firedragons but only hit 1 and failed to wound.
The scorpions, fire dragons, two waveserpents, warwalker, and two units of wind rider jetbikes fired into the terminators just managing to wipe the squad thanks to the sheer volume of fire plus the firedragons instant deathing belial and some ap1 bladestorm.
The dark reapers wiped out the last black knight squad with its jinx ignoring ap3 shots.
The rangers fired at the attack bike and failed to do anything
The relic windrider squad used its assault jump to move away from the enemy bikers.
Dark Angels Turn 3
Things looked really grim for the dark angel player now.
The devastators fired into the fire prisms side armour but only shook it.
The bikers moved and fired into the farseers windrider jetbikes but both wounds were saved. The unit then failed its charge with a roll of 6, needed 8.
Eldar Turn 4
Everything advanced.
The Warspiders fired into Sammael on the who was exposed on the side, he choose t to look out sir and he failed three and died from 7 wounds.
The remaining units opened fire on the bikes killing them all, with the dark reapers killing the most.
At this point it was all over.
Dark reapers killed so many, but they were crazy lucky to survive, and if the opponent knew the threat before the game it would be hard to keep them alive. The fire prism didn't seem to do much but it still felt so good, was a good threat. Waveserpents are amazing. Windrider jetbikes are amazing.
