I just picked up my first Infinity figure yesterday and was kind of surprised to see that he didn't come with a base. The figure seems to be designed with an integrated tab for a Slotta style base, but that'll make basing him kind of hard. So my question for you guys, how do you usually do the bases for these figures? Do most people co-opt a GW or PP Slotta styled base, or do most just lop off the tab and go with a 3rd party scenic?

I base all my infinity with micro arts resin bases, however I'd say to each their own. you can do up your own bases as simply or complicated as you like. 28mm round bases are what they use i believe. Just remember when you base not to make it too high since line of sight plays such a huge roll in the game

Personally, I use clear acrylic, but there should have been a gw style slotta base in the pack.

Huh? Except for the Maghariba Guard, all Infinity figures I bought came with slotta bases. What unit did you buy, exactly?

I got a Morat Vanguard Infantry with HMG. Unless the base is hidden under his stat card, there isn't one in the package. I looked at those Micro Art bases, and they are very nice looking. I'd need to cut off the slotta tab though for him to work with those, right?

If your doing a smaller force(1-25 figs) then I would go with scenic bases, it will add more continuity to your army that way. Plus scenic bases are cool.. lol.. But like my ork horde that is in the neighborhood of 35,000 points I went with something simple and quick lol.. So it boils down to preference..

Yeah, you got to cut the base tab. I think you can also call Corvus Belli for a missing base, although it may not be worth waiting for it.
