Member of a Lodge? I Can't Say

I have painted my first guardsman to test my colour scheme. Let me know what you think (I forgot to remove the mold lines which is why he is my test model  )

The Wolves will always come to heel when called. In that regard, it is a mystery why they name themselves wolves. They are tame, collared by the Emperor, obeying his every whim. But a wolf doesn’t behave that way. Only a dog does.
That is why we are the Eaters of Worlds, and the War Hounds no longer."

Thank you  I was quite surprised at how well he turned out. Normally I'm not very good at painting.

That is a really good looking colour scheme. If you wrote it down on paper I wouldn't have thought it would look good.

Thank you. I was a bit unsure of the colour scheme too until I finished. I think I'll do the rest of the army the same.

If i was you i'd do the stock trim, barrel end and boot straps blue as well, to unify it. Looks great though!

Excellent thus far, that blue looks really nice with the clothing-earthtones. Keep in mind the base needs to be subdued (just like it is here) so as not to compete for attention. Nice stuff. I like those blue highlights.
