For me, it's the Necron Lyche Guard. The models are pretty nice, but the hand on one of the Hyper phase swords is upside down. For a second I thought that maybe it was a left hand, but nope, upside down. I ended up cutting the sword from the hand and putting it back together right side up. Somehow, I don't envision a clunky robot doing all sorts of Japanese Steak House flips with a sword, especially when they are descibed in the fluff as just standing there, waiting for the perfect strike.
What have you folks encountered?

The techmarine's cute, little button nose. Easily fixed though, so it's not a big deal.

Ask yourself: have you rated a gallery image today?

Arms on TAGs like O'Yorio in Infinity. So torn on whether to include something like that or not, I think I'm going to leave them off though.

I wish I had time for all the game systems I own, let alone want to own...

I take it you mean the master arms (the little ones), not the slave (big ones) with that comment.

The small are called the "master arms" because the pilot has his arms in them and THEY are what control the other larger arms (hence slave on them).
It has nothing to do with the size relationship.
(People wonder why the small ones are the master, not the big ones.).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

I get their purpose, I'm just not the biggest fan of how they look

It's not a problem now that I've moved away from 40K, BUT:

Race-specific trophies/stuff on standard models. E.g. the little plastic terrain bits that hold ork stormboyz up in the air. Sorry GW, but my orks didn't fight in an urban city environment, they fought in muddy trenches, so all these urban-looking bits of terrain and SM helmets do not fit with the theme. I know it's easy to fix, but it's a pita I'd rather not have to deal with (cutting them of 15 stormboyz then trying to come up with an alternative is not a quick job). Especially as my orks are yet to fight SM fluff-wise...

I've always liked the Hellbrute model, and I was eager to convert and paint one. I always seem to have an issue with the snap-together models where the seams don't fit flush and I end up having to greenstuff the gap. The arm on the Hellbrute has a plate that attaches to the top of the forearm...but the plate doesn't fit flush against the plate on the bottom portion of the forearm. I shaved down the peg, I pressed as hard as I could...but could not get it to sit flush. After looking at a bunch of Hellbrutes in the gallery here, it looks like...it was never intended to fit flush. "Why, just greenstuff it in if it bothers you so much", you might say. Well, I had intended on attaching the plate after the model was painted so I could properly paint the hand without it getting in the way...so the model was already primed and on the way to being painted by the time I found this out

I'd say that the Master Arms are more baffling on the Morat Raicho than anything since it looks like the operator's head is exposed up at the top. Whose arms are those at the bottom?
