From my understanding Suppression fire is a long order that creates a "strip" that when enemies enter gives you a full burst ARO.

Does this mean you can only ARO if they enter the strip? Example, you lay down suppression fire. The enemy's next active turn has someone move within LOF of your guy laying down SF but outside the SF zone. Can he ARO without losing the SF? Or does he ARO like normal, and if someone so happens to go through the SF he gets full burst?

What happens when a camo marker moves through the SF? Can you still only Discover/Change Facing?

Does doing anything other than shooting make you lose the SF?

I'm not sure.

You can shoot it with full burst! Even if it's not discovered. I was mistaken.

Does doing anything other than shooting make you lose the SF?

I think so.

The model still can ARO as normal, if it does anything besides fire down the Suppressing Fire lane it loses it.

If a Camouflage Marker does not perform anything but MOV in his turn, even if it crosses a Suppression Fire zone or a figure's ZC, the only ARO that can be executed against it is Discover or Change Facing.

A miniature with Suppression Fire will automatically have it cancelled if he tries to use any other Skill but Suppression Fire. This rule applies for active and reactive turns.

A model that has placed a supression fire corridor can still decalre an ARO against models outside the supression fire corridor but it then loses the suppression fire. Camo markers cannot be targeted by attacks until they are discovered so a camo marker can move across the supression fire corridor without being shot (although you can still ARO discover but then you lose the supression fire). So basically, yes, any AROs other than shooting something in the supression fire corriidor cancels the supression fire.

Damn, ninjad and with quotes too!

Also remember that a SF zone doesnt only hit enemies... it his ALL MODELS, yes even friendlies, that pass through it.

I remember the days that my Aquila guard would happily lay down suppressive fire from cover. BS15 HMG with MSV3 Booyah!

Then my opponents figured out his weakness.

Now I have to do it with MSV2 instead. Or maybe not.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
