I posted this list a while back, but now I'm reconsidering and thinking about psychic choir...advice/suggestions/drawbacks/strats?

I like cheap tyrant for list of 1500 pts and less. However, I think the +1 strengh is mandatory. Versus marines, the tyrant will wound on 2+ instead of 3+.

ELITES
Tyranid Warrior brood: 3 warriors, scytals, rending claws, +1 I adrenal gland, leaping - 105 pts

Good configuration except that you also need carapace. Carapace help the warriors to live longer as they can now save versus a normal bolter.


The rest of your list seem good. For 1850 pts, dont forget to add some speedy units.

Points total still the same, but swapped around some morphs taking into account the suggestions - unfortunately the rending claws had to go in order to stay under the 1500 pt mark.

Suggestion 1: remove 1 spinegaunt and add therending claws on the warriors.

Suggesion 2: Remove 2 spinegaunts and add the rending claws on the warriors and toxic misama on the tyrant.

Otherwise, your list seem solid. Bring us some batrep!
