Since I find myself flitting from one project/army to another, returning back, etc., I thought I'd make one consolidated thread for my three armies. The first few posts then will introduce the armies, and post what pics/progress I've gotten to so far. Some of you might have seen some of these pics before, but I promise new pics and work soon!

First off, I'll go ahead and post stuff I HAVEN'T posted yet, my new mixed Eldar force. I am going with the new Eldar codex rules, but mixing standard Craftworld Eldar with Dark Eldar, as well as old Rogue Trader era stuff and conversions for Corsairs/Pirates, and possibly some Exodites as well (I've got a bunch of Fantasy DE Cold Ones I've been dying to convert and paint!)

Here is a group shot of the first batch of guys I've done. This will be the basic Craftworld color scheme: a pale slightly pastel green-blue for the armor, with a burgundy/red for the helmet and (most) weapons, with gold (and a little bit of black) as accents, and various colors for the various gems and stuff (especially on the Craftworld guys).

This old-skool metal Guardian was the test fig for the paint scheme. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out, and with the level of difficulty/complexity of the general scheme.

On fancier figures I can make it more complex, like the converted Guardian Sargeant/(maybe) Dire Avenger Exarch:

And the Warlock, converted to be riding an anti-grav platform (a conversion Idea I've been wanting to do for a while):

I used blended ink washes (blue and purple) on the robe in the hopes of making him look fancier/more subtle. I had some difficulty with the helmet/mask, but think that my next Warlock will go better (I've imagined two guys, both riding anti-grav platforms, called "The Twins." The other one is also an old-skool Warlock).

I'm especially happy with the way this old-skool Dark Reaper turned out. I decided to go with a bone-colored armor, with the helmet/weapon in colors like the Guardians to tie them into the larger force.

And finally, another Guardian, this one another old-skooler but the monopose plastic style. I picked up 3 of these in a trade, bare plastic, and thought having that small a number won't make the Guardian squad(s) too bland.

Also, you can see a Lychguard head on the base. These Eldar are the arch-nemesis of my Necron force ("The Arisen"), who are modeled with various Eldar junk/ruins/bodies/etc. on their bases. I thought it would be cool to do the other side too, and of course I have a ton of 'Cron bits to do this with!

Speaking of 'Crons, all the pics in my previous Necron-only thread are of the first style paint scheme, which I've changed since. I have also painted up more guys in the new scheme and painted a few special HQs, etc. I'll post some pics of those guys soon.

Also, my third army is Chaos Space Marines. Here are a couple pics to give you an idea:

My Juggernaut-riding Khorne HQ (I have almost finished painting him, and he turned out well, so I'll post those pics shortly):

My heavily converted/customized Terminator Lord (also painted, and pics coming!):

A couple of pics of one of my (partially) painted dudes to give you an idea of the color scheme:

Hopefully I can keep this multi-project thread updated more regularly. Any advice, comments or critiques graciously welcomed. Thanks Dakka!
