This is an entire Hive City plus 2 Boxes of Accessories (one floor pillars, two floor pillars, screens kit, modular area and sections upgrade). The 12 boxes included here weigh approximately 66.5 pounds (1066 oz) and should allow you to densely cover a 5×7 space with the highest quality terrain. This set originally cost over $1000 to purchase.

What is Iron Battlefield?

A new Sci-fi scenery range for 28mm wargames, designed to create heavy and industrial style structures over the battle board, through a highly configurable system for inner and outer game.

Appearance:

This range has been designed to make a realistic industrial environment: dark and metallic colours on main areas, like walls, floors, catwalks, grids… combining with high colourful and special items than provides sophistication to the group, like vivid colour plates, or crystal fences and tiles.

In sum, a metallic and heavy landscape, to recreate an industrial complex, big space hulks, and outer colonial facilities.

Features:

The offered sets have a great versatility, both in assembly and use. Designed under the MINEX standard, sectioned parts offer huge advantages:



Compatibility: all sections, as rooms, corridors, catwalks… are totally compatible. It is not only about the connection possibilities between them, but the different modules can be assembled to maximize the usable space within the same area.
Extensible: in the same way, they will be compatible with any new design, made by us or by another manufacturer as it is designed under the same standards.
Easy to paint and mount: Kits are made in medium grey pre-painted MDF lasercutted, and are served with a lot of autoadhesive plates of color and metal textures, and full color stickers. It allows a very easy assembly process, with a nice basic coloured result (just as a new car!!). If you want a more realistic finish, you can get it easily with washes and drybrush technics.
Realistic textures: As well as the basic MDF structure, the kits contains a lot of pieces made of several materials. Fiberglass metal finish grids, very thin and ultra clear crystals, and all kind of metallic appearance plates which will provide you the best results.
Versatility: almost all sections allow several assembly mods, also you can exchange parts with other sections after the main assembly. You will never get bored with this!!
Inside and outside options: With no doubt one of the most interesting feature. Sections can be used externally for a battleground wargame (Warhammer 40.000, Infinity), or internally (Space Hulk mainly), using the disassembled pieces too and enjoying the interior details.
