I feel I should explain the Pegasus. It's my daemon prince's steed.

There is no need to explain my friend. If your Daemon Prince wants a Pegasus, he can have a Pegasus.

A "menacing" pink purple of course.

I had forgotten about PFUDOR.

I'm not going to do that because I want this army to be elegant, and not comedic.

Oh! I have a header now!

There's a surprising amount of work goes into making a base look like it's covered in turd.
This is the start of a very loose and easy rough terrain base for my Soulgrinder. 99% of this will be under grass and debris. I just can't get the Fething wash to dry.

Gah! you changed your avatar!
Now the darn song will go through my head every time I see it!
Oddly fitting and cute but still!!
I am unsure "unsalted" is appropriate for your header but is pretty good!
You may want to change that to your avatar...

With all the knives on that chariot, there is good reason for there to be turd on the ground.

I am quite interested on how to present an "elegant" Slanesh daemonette army.
My mind keeps straying to burlesque or harem and all I got is a "slinky little black dress" goth thing going on (candles, roses, the whole works).
Ah! a theme of "forbidden fruit" some books... I have a sudden urge to dress a daemonette as a librarian.
A different brand of things that go "bump" in the night.
Ballroom attire would have some difficulty without going into a brothel theme.
An explorer / tomb raider / safari "pith helmet" making fun is another.

Anyway, you certainly handle these challenges well.

MMmmmm Delicious Diaz Demonettes! Nice find on all those! I am still half looking to get my hands on another set.

I'm aiming for classy, I may fall short!
The infantry are all based like they're ransacking a church. There'll be broken stained glass.

Took me about a year to get those Diaz, I own roughly 25-26, and four are going to be in the soul grinder.
Plus the tiny familiar Daemonette will be on the KoS base I think. Like, "Hey, meet my dad."

Not where I should be

Can't get rid of that blooming tune now, thanks!

Turd looks like a great start, nice rich tones.

As to colour, are Slaanash not normally blue-ish, I know a lot of people have gone very pink with them lately, maybe as a break from the norm for you go dark, thinking shiny black.

I've been slowly working on the meat of this army. It's a hard thing to break down into steps. I'm focusing on my daemon prince today.

Step one, snap the wings back off.

Really intrigued by how the deamon prince will turn out. Any thoughts on colours yet?

I've gone with a purple version of how I did my blue Kelpie, but with sunset-blush mane and tail.
I need to do the wings shortly, thinking white feathers with take same blush to them,
I'll post up when I've got that done, and the details of his accouterments painted in. Right now it's very Barbie.

Nice. Can you add say a gloss at end? Maybe give your colours a sparkle?

Yeah, I've had him for years, it's the metal version. I always kept a spare, thinking I'd have an idea.

His shield is hella difficult in white.
