That said, they also seem to be a musician of some sort? There seems to be a horn/pipe there. Maybe that wakes up the eggs? Or commands whatever those spikes are on the ground (attack vines?) maybe?

I guess they could be eggs. My first reaction was leaning towards owls and other birds.

I think you are correct that they are eggs. There is a egg you can see at the top with a head and biters coming out. There is a similar rumour with this egg and bug which looks like ambull baby lol.

I mean, it isn’t, because it’s an AoS model.

Well, there was a quest for 1st edition WFRP where you had to hunt an Ambull... it's not likely, but not impossible either.

It doesn't fit the lore of the Ambul.

"Baby" Ambuls are larvae that look like worms.

Wondering if the Nid tentacle isn’t in fact a Nid tentacle, but belongs to this model’s fancy base gribblies?

Yeah that’s the one I was thinking..

I think they’re thorny vines on the base of this. The nid tentacle looking one was smooth apart from the carapace looking bit, these have thorns coming off them.

Still have not found the model I wanna use for my C’tan, if he was doing something different with his hands then I’d be more interested here (removing the back piece).
Still the closest I’ve come to the thing I want are those Chaos Dwarf Forge world fire creatures, forget the name now..

Wonder if might be a new Aspect? Not sure what, but perhaps one which specialises in tactical plans, as I’m getting a map table vibe from the device?

The slicing orbs of zandros are an old aspect mentioned back in 2nd ed and have been mentioned all the way up to now.

It looks weird enough to be that.

However, it would be nice to see more plastic character variation for the CWE. Beyond just autarch/farseer. Or at least more variants on those two.

Tzeentch without a doubt. Probably something for their Broken Realms book.

Emperor's Children would be more Slaaneshi and less Tzeentchi. I'd be on board the EC codex hype train though, even though I dont play chaos.

The icon, and the way it's mounted to the haft reminds me of the Chaos Sorcerer Lord so much, I am betting it's AoS.

It is not. There's no "leg meat" on the model shown today. It's grafted straight to the waistline it seems.

Which means...moar monowheels!

Nah. Front bit is different, and no sign of the metal spars holding it on.

The rumour pic is almost certainly a wheel on a Squig.
