And i don't see how that's something morally wrong

Ok, hypothetical situation, let's say I've written a book, it's a good book, reasonably popular, and disney decided they like the work, in fact all the disney execs are fans. so because they're such big fans they go out and use my book to make a movie, this movie makes them billions of dollars........ but I don't see any of it. In addition maybe they altered some key elements of the book that I hate and wouldn't have wanted. Should disney be allowed to do that, and should I just accept it as "hey they're giving my book advertising"?
Is that morally fair?

of course not.
So...
what's the differance?

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

You need to look at their early war uniform then.

Look familiar?

You also need the rest of what I wrote as context.
The Steel Legion have a fairly generic helmet and a lightning bolt symbol but doesn't use camo patterns, and importantly are mechanised infantry rather than paratroopers (intent not reality BTW I do know the fallschirmjäger basically became normal infantry after a certain point). Are all lightning bolt symbols Nazi imagery now? If I really look into it then yeah I can see the similar helmet design but it's not nearly as obvious as Catachans or Valhallans what the influences are.

I see similar helmet designs and that's it. For aesthetic purposes the Steel Legion boots are knee-high and go over the trousers, the tunic is much longer and most importantly all Steel Legion wear gas masks/rebreathers. In their background, they don't have a tendency for Germanic sounding names and the Regiment focuses on mechanised/lightning strike warfare. The similarities IMO end with the helmet unlike regiments such as the Valhallans and Catachans who very much dive into their respective influences in full.

That GW is a multi-billion corporation and copyright law was created to serve giant multi-billion corporations and not small, indepdendent creators? In that situation they'd probably just use that very copyright you're defending against you, and bankrupt you before you see a single day in court.

The leather suspenders indicate it's later than early-war, when they were using... which is to say struggling against godawful complex tailored hook arrangements.

I mean the only similarity people have drawn between Steel Legion and fallschmirjager is the helmet. So.

A helmet which is also, quite similar to paratrooper helmets in use by other nations:

This thread has run its course and has gone far enough off-topic, so perma-locking it.
