Hey friends!

I just got back in to the hobby and just bought my first pack of Space Wolves. I bought a pack of Space Wolves Terminators.
I am wondering about what wargear to put on them, when i am going to glue them together.
This is my first 40k pack, and i am a complete noob. (Only painted WHFB)
Please help me and give your advice on what to put on my SW Termies.

Thanks

You can magnetize Termis with relative ease. I´d definately do that if I would get new ones...
Afterwards you can swap the load out if you don´t like the way they play.

I see you are recommending a very melee minded approach.
Is that the way to go with Termies, and is ranged weapons a no-go?

you need to read the rulebook.
in 4th edition, a pack of 8 khorne berzerkers with khârn was enough to wipe your entire enemy's army of the table. in 5th edition it was enough to wipe half your enemies army of the table. in 6th edition it's just enough to wipe a single squad off the table. And that's just the changes of the rules (no longer being able to consolidate into enemy squads, and now being able to snap-fire against a charging enemy).
Really, look into the rules, try out some of the outfits in a few games, and see if you want to have permanent terminators, or magnetized terminators.

The way Wolf Guard terminators work is that they can split up at the beginning of the game and join seperate squads as leaders.

Or, you can keep them as one squad.

The load-outs will be vastly different, depending on which of these approaches you decide on - and if you decide to split them, which squads they're gonna be joining.

I am currently reading the rulebook (just started).
I am thinking about equipping my termies with combi-weapons and power-weapons and a single SS, would that be good considering it is my first Space Wolf unit?

To be honest, Termies are ace in 6th ed, so whatever load-out you give them they're gonna be pretty good.

Combi weapons are pretty good. Storm Shileds even better.

Magnetize then. That will be better at the long run.

Magnetizing them is not an option.
I am thinking about making one of them with two wolf claws, is that viable and if so, how will i get the most use out of it?
Also, do they have to be in a squad of five in order to be able to equip a assault cannon or a heavy flame thrower, or do i just need to have 5 in my entire army?
I know i am quite a noob atm, but i am currently reading the rulebook (Which is hard to chew through with this nice weather in Denmark)

They do need to be in a full squad for the heavy weapon. I run a fun, but pricey squad. One with PW and Assault Cannon, 2 w/ PW and combiweapons, flamer and plasma, one with a pair of claws, yay Shred! I then run them with Arjac.

That's incorrect. You need to purchase 5 from one slot in your whole army to get a heavy weapon.

So example:
You buy 5 wolf guard
1 with AC
4 with Terminator armor and Power Weapon

You split them off to 5 different squads. You're good to go.

Ah, that's right. They initially start out as one squad, and are equipped as such, before being separated. I had forgotten that point.

Those are something that has to be converted. Some third party companies, Chapterhouse for instance, make some ready made options that are nice. I believe they're magnetized for swapping. I did mine by adding a flamer barrel underneath the barrel of a Stormbolter, and a fuel tank to the side with guitar string fuel lines. For plasma, I just glued two plasma pistol barrels together and attached them to a Stormbolter in a similar manner. A Google search will pull up plenty of examples.
