I am creating a Transaction Report about this user because of the large number of trades he has been seeking, along with the following behavior:

1. Asking people to order directly from the GW website and have it shipped to him.
2. When pressed to accept Paypal, telling people they must wait until 21 days has passed and he can withdraw the payment before shipping.
3. Most distressingly, providing the same tracking number to two different users who he has ongoing / unfulfilled trades with... a number which appears to have been already delivered in-country and is not an international shipment.

Please, do not trade with this user! If all of these factors are somehow an elaborate misunderstanding, then that will play itself out. However, the number of complaints we have had about this user in such a short amount of time (the last week and especially last few days) for suspicious trade terms has been quite shocking.

Anyone who has a current transaction with LustrianLizard, or who communicated with him regarding trades, please feel free to post here on topic (that is, the discussion of trades specifically relating to this user).

Yeah hes been trying to get me to send money thru paypal for a large army he wanted to sell told him didnt feel comfortable wih that and he refused the deal

well that's unfortunate, looks like I will need to find a new trade for noise marines. money wasted is a lesson learned that's for sure...

I tried to buy a phantom Titan from LustrianLizard and via the PMs he was very helpful and understanding, however he insisted that I do the transaction through the GW site. This meant that I would buy products up to a total of $185 for him and then would have to hope he sent it in the mail which to me just seems very risky. When I asked whether we could just do Paypal because I wasn't sure about the deal he became very defensive and said he would just sell it to others if I didn't want it. He also refused the Paypal offer. Another user had bought it from him in this method and has expressed concerns to me about the transaction. The most worrying thing is though he hadnt even told me he wasn't going to sell it to me anymore.

I went to work and when I got back he had sold the item to the other user without telling me. He now won't respond to any of my PM's but I don't know. There may of course be an explanation.

Offered me a new sm battleforce, a land raider, and marneus calgar for 2 games day minis. Told him he'd have to provide pictures and ship first, and that was pretty much the end of that.

Lots of fishy things with the order. Actually, a ton. Nothing concrete, just lots of fishy things.
As others mentioned, payment was supposed to be by ordering him things through the GW website. Originally we attempted a transaction through paypal, but he said there was a delay on the money and they said they were going to put a hold on his receiving it so he cancelled the purchase and offered the GW purchasing option.
He says he doesn't have a camera and can therefore not send pictures.
He sent the wrong tracking number for my order, which he says he shipped.

These could all just be coincidence and/or error, but I also haven't been able to get a hold of him all day (When we were making the deal he always responded almost instantly during daytime hours,) and it's looking fairly suspect.

Judging by the volume of activity, I'd say it is looking probable that he was trying to blitz some scams by people.

Frickn balls, I knew it was too good to be true. Thank goodness I have done allot of trading online with variant different games to be able to sniff out a scammer. I hope no-one got jacked by him.

NSW? Wasn't there a blitz scammer from New South Wales about a year or two ago who asked for the same sort of stuff (GW buying, etc)? Could be the same guy?

I think I know someone who got scammed for the phantom. Luckily thanks to the very helpful advice from Curran12 and the MOD team I haven't been scammed and didn't go throug with the deal.

I wasn't going to say anything just yet in case but reading all of that is almost certain.

I spoke to him on the phone once during our initial contact because I thought the deal he gave me was too good to be true. He's phone has been off ever since. He refused any other form of payment including direct bank deposits, paypal and even C.O.D via the local post office. He would only accept GW products delivered.

When I said I can pick up he stopped responding to me, every other pm was almost instant replies. He also told me he responded to me via his phone through dakkadakka yesterday, when did phones have internet access but no camera?

He couldn't even describe the miniatures to me properly over the phone when I asked him about it.

I highly doubt any of this is a misunderstanding. This is almost certain a dirty scam.

I now feel sad. For a moment I thought I actually might get a phantom Titan for a non ridiculous price alas it was not to be...

AHA! I knew it!!! When he said he would trade a brand new Tau Manta, 2 kronor hunting packs, 3 counter strike Cadres AND 3 riptides for a Dakr elf army. I knew something fishy was going on!

Interesting, I was offered a few titans... I mean not against multiple irons in the fire at all, but I though it was a little unbalanced in trade. I hope this all gets work out for him very soon I know I have made plenty of mistakes!

The communication / testimonials are helpful, just a reminder that comments should be directly related to trades / trade discussions with this user from people who directly experienced such. Piling on posts will have to be deleted.

Has anyone actually sent models/money to this person other than Waaaghpower? Or are all the rest aborted trades where nothing had yet been sent?

Since Makaleth is in-country, hopefully there will be some easier recourse for him to recover models/funds if necessary. Stevenitis has LustrianLizard's information, and I do as well now, if needed.

With a possibly younger user like this, a simple phone call to the parents may get things straightened out... and failing that, a phone call to the police to have a talk with him about the consequences of his actions.

Yeh according to another member that i just spoke to, the address I got doesn't match the one he got, so I don't know anymore.

Almost sent all my Tau stuff that is new on spru for a large elder army he offered. I told him shipping was more then what I wanted to pay so he said he would throw in the titan if i ship.

Stevenitis just shared with me that alternate address and it is in Dora Creek, New South Wales (NSW), Australia (PM him, BaconUprising, or myself if you need the full address) and it is an exact match for the address used by the scammer and sockpuppeter Jamesc2012 / tfgguy / zigzagboom, as discussed in this Transaction Report from last year:

No one could do much that time, since all were outside of Australia. However, hopefully Makaleth, who is in Australia, can take appropriate action this time with the police, and put a stop to these recurring scam attempts....

He offered to send a warhound. I waited after realising he had the same address as Jamesc2012, who a few months ago ripped off users on here. Already he has a history of scamming, so this is an extreme trade-at-your-own-risk.

He offered me the 10 tank leman russ apoc formation for the small amount of BA I have posted, he was supposed to provide me a tracking number last night and I have not received it. I told him I would not ship my end until he had provide positive proof that he had shipped.He told me he had no camera to show proof of the tanks, guess I will not be trading with him now seemed way to good to be true.

He wanted to trade me 2 AoBR sets,3 unopened Ork Battleforces and an unbuilt Stompa for just about 1000 pts of Daemons. He told me his camera was broken, then posted pictures on the site trying to do a painting service. I feel horrible now because I wanted to speak up about him and his fishy-ness before but didnt get around to it. Luckily I told him he was a liar and he ran off crying.
