Well, I decided to come up with a world eater army that could actually work... how does this look?

Daemon Prince-177
-Mark of Khorne, 2CCW's, Collar of Khorne, Daemonic Strength, Feel No Pain, Daemonic Aura, Daemonic Resilience, Daemonic Stature, Daemonic Essence, Daemonic Speed, Personal Icon

Blood Thirster-205

8 Bloodletters-208

1 Aspiring Champion
-Powerfist, Combi-bolter, Personal Icon

I play something similiar in a Black Legion army using demonettes instead of bloodletters and it has worked fine for me. I have 2 squads of 5 bikes, the extra bike really does help keep the squads around til after the bomb goes off. I would probably get rid of the preds, they are just gonna get shot up. I would instead take a defiler and hide it and spend the rest of the points on more demons. I know that most people do not like the fleshhounds but in this case they might really compliment the speed of your army.

Let me know how this works for you.

That's very similar to an army I was working on, but I had another unit of bloodletters instead of the 'thirster, and two defilers and a pred as the heavies. I never played it, so I can't tell you if it'll work in practice, but in theory it's really cool. Also, Megadave posted a Khorne biker bomb army that got a lot of feeback, so I'd do a search for it, there's some good advice there.

Here's the link to Megadave's thread-

Hope that helps.

The 375 points spent in tanks is because I don't need help in close combat.... and it is 10 bikers..... I put "1" Aspiring champion instead of "5" infront of the bike entry.... Also, berserkers suck. Berserkers give you something to shoot at the entire game.... and if you think you can kill that daemon prince and 10 bikers with a 3+ invulnrable in one turn.... because world eater bloodthirsters come out on a 3+ on turn two..... the by all means, dream on. 24 Bloodletters+Daemon Prince + Bloodthirster + 10 Khorne Bikers= Kill anything in close combat.

*shrug*
It's a pretty standard demon bomb, nothing new. It's like Megadave's list, only less so. While strutting around with your 3+ invulnerables, remember that a lot of armies don't use low AP weapons to kill marines-they use high ROF weapons instead. Your bikers will fail saves just as often as the berzerkers will. In addition, try pulling that inv. save junk on a GK army and prepare to get psycannoned to death. I doubt that you will change anything (kudos to you), but, like drop pod armies, people will figure out how to beat this kind of list and there goes all of its competativeness.

By the by, you're remarkably low on anti-armor. Sure you've got three preds, but they're not that hard to eliminate.

cheers
