Has anyone else read this?

Every single bit of news I hear about Games Workshop proper leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. I sincerely hope that an investment I have works out the way the prospective is fortelling whislt GW goes into decline so I can buy the company. I am tired of something that is such a big part of my life treating me and other like minded individuals like cattle.

Perhaps it's that "big part of your life" that you should be re-evaluating? Start a new hobby. Read some classic novels. Learn to play Go. Waiting for Games Workshop to somehow "get better" is a muggle's game.

Thank you Azeral13. I'm not phased in the slightest by the vitriol that abounds on the internet.

So an article in the press about GW doing relatively well, in the sense it has a clear vision of what it want to achieve, how its going to do that and feels that its in a secure place is a bad thing? Seems good news to me. GW are a business like any other, they are biggest because they do what needs to be done to stay there which apparently makes them evil and bad. I may not agree with every decision (some things are outright stupid in my opinion) but im not the guy who runs it who responsibility it is to do so and who seems to be achieving what he wants in what he believes is in the best interest of the company while providing games that a large number of gamers want to play and invest their time and money in.

The easiest way to explain the odd decisions and weird behaviour is to take the position that Kirby, a major shareholder approaching retirement age, is running the company in what he believes are his own best interests. Then a lot of the short term, money grabbing decisions make a whole load more sense.

Is it an article about them doing well? I thought the tone was mocking.
