Game 5, Securing the facility.
Commander Platz men have cleared the approach to Gamma Industrial Facility, but at a very high cost. The Commander and his troopers approach cautiously as they near the entrance. The wind still blows strong and the relentless haze limits visibility. The men are anxious to finish this mission but have seen the terrible things these Tyranids can do. It is their hatred of these beasts and the haunting memory of their comrades that drives them on. They all, take a deep breath, ready their weapons and move in.

Tyranid markers will only reveal on a roll of 5 or 6. Once a marker is revealed it continues to move randomly.
Unless they get sighted or have sighting, (18") they move randomly. If they have sighting they move towards closest target.

Once a marker is revealed a token is selected to see what that marker is. It could be nothing or up to 3 models, again randomized.

I use some Abbreviations for Squads:
B/B = Black & Blue Squad
B/R = Black & Red Squad
R/O = Red & Orange Squad
B/W = Black & White Squad

here's a few thoughts first its very hard to compare this to other games of 40k cause its non standard, unique mission with an entirely unique rule set. with things moving randomly, it sugguests you dont have an opponent but is not clear in the description if this is the case. its unclear when things are happening in terms of what turn, what whos assault phase etc.

i would sugguest adding a bit more description to what kind of mission it is at the outset. that will help to orient people as to what is going on. it wont guarantee that you get post as many good batreps on here dont.

I don't mind that it's a custom campaign, but knowing how many markers there is might help. As it went on I did not know if the guardsmen were doing well or not until the end. Also knowing what the guardsmen forces were at the start other than just the different squad designations would help.

I liked the quick flow of it from picture to picture though. Perhaps in the title you could list it as kill team or custom campaign so people like the above poster don't come expecting something else? I enjoyed your rep though.

Hyperlink each battle to the preceding and next battle. It's the easiest way for the reader to catch up on what he/she's missing and saves you from retyping previous information. (just type see battle 1 for force lists).

Honestly there are so many battles posted on this site I imagine there are a lot of people who miss things (like me missing the first 4 battles lol).
