Had a 1300 point KoW Battle last week with a friend of mine. It was our first battle and we we had a good time. We only play with painted minis and were scrambling to get our armies together in time (some of my figs are still shiny from being dipped, but not yet matte-varnished), so we didn't follow army composition rules exactly.

The big take away was that I really enjoyed the game and look forward to playing it again soon.
A few pics to whet your interest:

You can see the men and werewolves army list I used here:

His list was drawn entirely from the Undead army list.

Damn that looks good. For some reason, the pics gave me a bit of an old-school WFB3 vibe. I realise the game plays quite differently, but the feel of the pics and armies - and DIFFERENT MODELS being used really kicks arse.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed the report and the miniatures.

Our club is really big on rules that make it easy to use whatever figures you have. KoW doesn't have a unit creation mechanic, but it has so many included profiles (8 armies in the main rulebook!) that you can find an appropriate statline for just about any unit.
