Tough call on the fast attack slot....I don't really like any of them. Still, I suppose the devilfish will help with deepstriking if you so choose, so that could be handy.
That's 11 markerlights, 3 of which are independent. Could be interesting, and really overall it doesn't look like a bad list despite your self-imposed limitations.
What would you think about adding a pair of railrifles to the pathfinders, or maybe a pair of seeker missiles on the devilfish?

I completely forgot about seeker missiles. I'll be losing some kroot to add some. The list would have a problem against AV12 skimmers. Seekers would help with that.

why not turn the rail head into a skyray at this point. You have plenty of fusion blasters so ap1 and high armor pen aren't as much a problem for you, and the skyray has plenty of synergy with the rest of your army.

Not a horrible idea. But I happen to have 3 hammerheads in boxes, so I'd like to use at least one of them.

Keep the railhead, if only for the submunition round. This list will definitely need it against hordes.
I like the list, though I second the idea of dropping kroot for seekers. They're incredibly useful, especially against marines. Nothing is more satisfying than watching the grin vanish from your opponents face when he loses his assault squad in one turn of shooting.

Actually, I'm mostly curious to see how the kroot squads fare. I've always been a huge fan of kroot, and these large squads (two squads of 24 models each, as I read it) aren't what I usually field. The inclusion of so many hounds leads me to believe Mauleed plans on a fairly active melee role for these units. My question is, are the hounds/numbers enough for this unit to compete against dedicated melee units?

How do you figure that? I make it 9.

8 pathfinder = 8 markerlights + 3 sniper drone teams = 3 markerlights (BS4, no less!) = 11 markerlights total

Unless I am mistaken (it has been known) you do not need knives on the 2-suit Elite units as the purpose of the knife is to allow the unit to rally when it has fallen below 50% strength.

Don't the drones count for unit size?

i5 hounds are really nice. I played with a 24 man-unit of 12/12 kroot/hounds recently and found it wasn't so bad. 24 ws 4, str 4, models for 150 some-odd points is pretty good.
Pathfinders tend to be target #1 and are very fragile... I would be careful with how you use them. They're a lot of points.
I would commit to either mp OR plasma on the fireknife team as it's going to be doing one or the other most of the time. Fireknife suits are versatile, but not terribly effective.
No targetting array or fusion on the piranha?

Fireknife suits are fantastically effective when they're BS5.
