Subject: The Green Tide video batrep - An apocalypse battle of ~ 10K points per side
This was our first new Apoc game. I'm mostly filming, I only have the yellow and red warhound and dreadnoughts in the game, until I leave for dinner and pass the camera over. Sorry it is a little jumpy, and one more turn would have been better, but was still a blast to play and that Green Tide formation is terrifying! It was aided by a relatively close deployment to the guard in the center, but ultimately I don't think another turn of shooting would have done that much damage to the formation, certainly not enough to slow it down.
Sorry if the camera was a little jumpy, will try to improve things on the next batrep. (Got a 20K per side one I'm editing now.)

You should have, needed more Orks, lol. I think he just got the gargantuan squiggoth a few weeks ago in a really amazing army buy. The Mumak conversion he finished a few weeks ago.

Yeah, haha amazing army buy indeed. Would have loved to get those mini's. We will have to do another apoc game where the real Orks can get out there and krump.

I think the orks started with more, but on Turn 3 the Reaver tipped it towards imperial. We aren't really sure, we were just grabbing whatever was painted, mostly. A lot of stuff came on the back edge for orcs that wasn't relevant to the fight where it mattered. Too much table depth is an issue, I've seen for several apoc games, unless more board edges are available for reinforcements and the objectives are well spread.
