As the title states, If my biker has a slugga and a choppa on his wargear, it should serve to stand that he gets an extra attack. I tried looking somewhere to see if bikes were excluded from this rule, because you know, wouldnt they need one hand to steer with or to keep accelerating or something?

Fantastic. these bikers are even more BA than I've been playing them. and B.A. doesnt stand for blood angels in this context.

Heh heh, they just flip them to auto pilot and let the slugging begin.

IIRC some older individual Codexes (3rd edition times) had entries for bikes that said the biker could only swing with one one-handed weapon. Then again, in those days models could usually only have two weapons total and only one of them two-handed.

But that's long past - now someone like an Eldar Autarch can ride a Jetbike while carrying grenades, a shuriken pistol, a fusion gun and a reaper launcher.

I don't write the rules. My ego just lives and dies by them one model at a time.

The codex specifically states BOYZ are Crazy enough to let go to swing at opponents. Safety is unheard of.

Yaknow in real life if you go fast enough on a motorcycle you stabilize yourself automatically. I actually witnessed it first hand when i saw a bird take out a biker's helmet (broke the visor and knocked him out). He slumped over, but going 90+ the bike didnt fall over. Thankfully he snapped out of it before the road turned lol.
That explains how the hell they drive and have 2 CCW lol. Besides, who said boyz/nobz put personal safety over possible krumping?

Also the rules are an abstraction as always. The CC rules provide a benefit if the model has access to 2 CC weapons. The CC phase spans over the initial charge as well as the close in fighting. Given that the rules have bike units stop instantly as soon as they hit CC (like all other units) the bonus could be from the rider firing the pistol as they come into combat before switching to the melee weapon, or it could be that all bikers just jump off their bikes as they smash into the enemy unit before fighting on foot, or the bikes can be controlled by some kind of neural link (or luck) allwoing the rider to use both hands at the same time. Pick your favourite.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Well my army is Deffskulls, so the bikes are painted blue. This means they are inherently lucky. I will go with the luck option.

As a biker I often drive with both hands off the handlebars, so if I wished to carry a pair of axes and behead drivers that annoy me, I could do so and not fall off.

...really...?!
I know the Welsh are amazing, but the amount of force required to actually lop someone's head off with an axe would be sufficient to put a countering force on your arm big enough to make you crash, if not be launched from the seat entirely.

Plus how many battles take place in the middle of an eight-lane highway? Most battlefields would be strewn with debris, craters and dead bodies that would prevent what you could realistically do on a relatively flat and smooth roadway.
