Greetings! I've been out of the game a while but I decided to bring my necrons out of retirement for 6th and the new codex. I have no idea whats going on so please help or leave feedback.

I also have a variation of this list with Anrakyr since his machine ability seems pretty good. Can he use it on a command barge? So the warriors go with the stormtecks in the arks, which is hopefully enough support to do some damage. The immortals come on with the lord, who hopefully gives them some melee protection, along with nightscythe backup. The despairteck teleports Trazyn around with the deatnmarks to shoot stuff, and contest points since he is scoring. I also considered putting him on a command barge with the chariot rules to combo his ability, don't know if that's actually good or not. My main opponents are eldar and marines, though the shop I play at is slowly growing in popularity so who knows. Any feedback is much appreciated.

The warscythe will definitely give your overlord some CC pop. I usually attach mine to a large warrior unit, but I am sure he will do just as well with immortals. Deathmarks and Anni Barges are great. The only thing I don't have experience with is your Royal Court and Trazyn, but have heard good things about Cryptek courts so I imagine it is a good call. Looks good to me, being the newb that I am, lol.

Unfortunately, the Command Barge's Sweep Attack won't work with Trazyn's Empathic Obliterater (it only goes off in close combat, according to the FAQ), but he can still use it while FIGHTING in the assault phase whilst atop the barge.

Sticking him with the Veiling Despair-tek and Deathmarks is a good idea. Just beware: if he dies and comes back, he could randomly become any other unnamed HQ on the table, so just because he's on the objective this turn might not mean he's in the same place in the next turn.

Anrakyr's MitM ability being used from the Command Barge is a topic for hot debate. They still haven't FAQ'd it yet, so you'd have to discuss with your opponent before hand as to whether he'd be allowed to use it while embarked.

Are the Storm-teks with the Immortals? If so, good. That's a powerful anti-AV unit right there (just be sure to give them Gauss Blasters, though. Tesla's not going to do anything against vehicles).
