Looking at maybe taking my bikes out for a spin again, and the new(ish) dark angels seem to offer a new and cool concept for a bike list. extreme
MSU glass-cannon. This list might struggle real hard in
KP missions, having 17
KPs at 1500 pts

, but it should also be able to dish out the pain fast and hard, so I will have to rely on alphastriking so hard that my opponent can't recover.
I think it can be extremely annoying to play against in multiple objective missions, as I will have 11 tiny scoring units with great mobility. Deathstars and big expensive shooty units will struggle to really pull their weight, as you can only kill a tiny unit at a time.
The amount of firepower the opponent will have in his face in turn 1 is also quite staggering. I don't think many tanks will survive past turn 2 between all the multimeltas, meltas and krak grenades. I might be packing too much melta for 6th ed? Maybe drop one squad down to flamers and one up to plasma? I will still have 7 individual units with melta. Melta does kill wraiths much better though...
Hordes may be an issue. The drop pod squad can seriously hurt one unit, but much more than two horde units is going to be a problem. On the other hand, those large horde units are going to be struggling with pulling their weight against all those tiny units zooming around.
Fliers may be annoying with this list, I only have meltas on 6's to kill them, but like hordes, they will struggle to pull their weight. Tiny units to kill, most of which are probably in their DZ or hiding behind walls and with jink saves.
Think it could work? I havn't played 6th ed since
CSM came out (unrelated to that book), so I'm not totally up to date on the state of competitive
40k. What direction would you suggest for taking it to 1750/1850/2000? Any experience with black knights? They are extremely expensive, but that grenade launcher is ace. The unit in itself doesn't really pack much of a punch at minimum strength though, and taking a large unit defeats the purpose of the list.
