So this is my latest of list iterations using DarkAngels as the primary and a detachment of Tau to spice things up and add some firepower. While nowhere near a top tier list (the store I regular at has some seriously high end players for me to compare with), I'd like to make a go at making a solid list that doesnt just fold to the biggest and baddest lists around. Ideally I'm looking for critizism on any glaring holes in the list and possible changes to improve it.

Primary: Dark Angels
HQ- Librarian, lvl 2, in TDA, with an Infravisor =135 pts
HQ- Librarian, lvl 1, in PA, with an Infravisor =70 pts
-Techmarine, on a Bike, with a Power Field Generator =100 pts
-Techmarine, with a Power Field Generator =80 pts

Troops: 5man Tact squad, Missile Launcher, in a Razorback w/Lascannon/Plasma Gun =160pts
Troops: 5man Tact squad, Missile Launcher, in a Razorback w/Lascannon/Plasma Gun =160pts
Troops: 5man Tact squad, Missile Launcher, in a Razorback w/Lascannon/Plasma Gun =160pts

Heavy Support: 5man Devastator Squad 4xLascannon =150pts
Heavy Support: 5man Devastator Squad 4xPlasma Cannon =130pts

Fast Attack: Darkshroud =80pts
Fast Attack: Ravenwing Support Squad: 4x Typhoon Speeders =300pts

Allies: Tau (471 pts)
HQ: Cadre Fireblade =60pts

Troops: 8man Fire Warrior Squad =72pts

Heavy Support: 2man Broadside Team w/Rail-guns, 2x Missile Drones =154pts

Elites: Riptide w/Ion Accelerator, Fusion Blaster =185pts

Total: 1966pts!! (sooo I have 34pts wiggle room it seems)

The general plan is to form a "Spear" with the Razor-backs, Speeders, all surrounding the Techmarine on the bike. The Librarians attach to each of the Dev squads to give them Night Vision and toss around Prescience and (hopefully) Ignores Cover while the Tech on foot gives the Devs, Broadsides(via drones in front), and possibly Fire Warriors on a different floor of a reinforced ruin via the Techie's. Running the numbers if I can get the bulk of my force in the 30" range of my opponent I'll have nearly 80 shots of Str 5+ raining down range. The biggest flaw, obviously, is the use of smallish units of PA but the TDA Libby, Techmarines, and Broadsides can use their 2+/4++(from the PFG) to absorb a reasonable amount of enemy fire. On top of that, between the Reinforce Terrain and Shroud of Darkness, I'll have a decent amount of cover bonuses against anything but the various weapons that ignore cover.

SO, Im eager to hear what any/all of you think.

[Edit]: I just ran my numbers for the umteenth time and it seems I have 34pts of wiggle room (so a couple more Fire Warriors, a Servo harness, maybe a support system, 2.5 tactical marines)

What is your plan against any air? I would find points to add an aegis with a quad gun.

I'm not a huge fan of the AA solution of "adding an aegis". It's not very reliable to cover all your air problems.

However, with the amount of missiles and mech you have with your DA army a guaranteed 4+ cover save for all your Razorbacks and Dev squads wouldn't hurt. You have A LOT of long range firepower which is great.

Also, if you feel light on AA, adding the aegis and skyfire/interceptor on your Riptide might help. I'm not huge on them, but a flakk missile or two might add weight of fire on flyers if you include AA in several parts of your army.

My plan against air is a squad of TL (via prescience) Lascannons, Squad of TL(via prescience) Typhoon Missile Launchers, and a pair of (you guessed it) TL Rail-guns. Even a Hell-turkey will go down to that many Str 8/9 shots (4 Str 9, 12 Str 8 not including the NOT TL shots from the other parts of the army)...... That said, a true "Flying Circus" would probably wreck me >.>

As to the Aegis... I was hoping to avoid the static gun-line somewhat as it's felt like a shoehorn in every game Ive used it in thus far. Yes, it'd be nice for my Razorbacks/Troops/Broadsides to chill behind but it also gives my opponent a single point of contact/engagement. That coupled with lack of elevation (that a ruins might give in it's place) means LoS can be tricky when deploying the fortification. Lastly, with this list Im not sure what I could honest drop to find 100pts (because why bother with the 4+ cover only when you can get a Quad-gun for the aforementioned Air quandry and or just a twin-linked Str 7 Heavy 4 weapon).

That said, keep the critiques coming! (Oh, one request, IF you see a flaw, Id love to hear not only possible changes by way of units to Add but also what units/points to change in their place. It's not easy to look at a list, for me, and say hmm I need to add 100 points worth of things, what's gonna go then... hence why suggestions of weak-links or over-redundancy areas are highly appreciated )

What if you dropped a special weapon off of each dev squad(giving you more bodies to die before those HW get picked off) and made the speeders a squad of 2 and a squad of 3 or even added a WW for that ignore cover pinning LB.

Other then that looks solid.
