Hello,

Here is a IG list intended for semi competitive
play in pick up games. No particular opponent
just pickup games.

Please leave any ideas as far as: Elements that
seem out of place or that hinder the army, tactics
that will expose those weaknesses or minimize them
as well as units that could be min or max to bring
the list to a more meta oriented competitive level.

LRBT
HB sponsons

Total: 1499

Short explanation:

Generally deploy majority of forces on a single flank/table quarter.

Chimeras escort two combined infantry squads
to nearest midfield objectives. PCS and plasma vets embarked
provide fire support and orders. Harkers squad infiltrates as
close as possible(in cover) to bullet magnet/harass to give
combined squads time to reach objectives and set up HBs.
CCS footslogs with the combined squads.

LRBTs provide fire support along with sentinel from long range
while STs and Vendetta arrive as soon as possible to disrupt
enemy armor and reinforce whats left of Harker. SWS can
deploy as desperate anti tank or back field line breaker/objective grabber

End goal. Have a solid objective holding fire base midfield with
fragile STs and exposed LRBTs as bait to keep the from routing
my firebase with a concerted effort.

Seems to me my weakness is relying on the timing of everything
and having little contingency for a breakdown in any section.
Note: sorry for narrowness, composed on a mobile device. I hope
it posts legibly. Thanks for your responses and critiques to my army
list, tactics, or my posting format/ettiquette!

-Kyle

If you won't post on Dakka, you'll post on the firing line!!

I would infiltrate the storm troopers with Harkers squad then their weapons count as pinning on the first round of shooting and with a melta your likely to get a kill, or you could switch out the melta for a plasma and have a plasma pistol on the sergeant to get more shots away at AP2 & 3.

If you want the special weapon squad to show up in the vendetta maybe change their load out to have two plasmas and a melta for volume of fire against a MeQ army, You could also use a valkyrie instead of a vendetta as hellstrike missiles kill MeQ as well.

That is how I would do it though all depends on your play style, I would reccomend infiltrating the ST though... Artillery is always an option instead of a LRBT

Accept any challenge, No matter the odds
