Here is my proposed list at 1850. Any c&c is really appreciated.
HQ:
300 - Kairos Fateweaver (warlord)
290 - Daemon Prince of Slaanesh, exalted reward (usually grimoire or portaglyph), greater reward (usually the lash), psyker level 1, armour and wings
355 - Daemon Prince (allied detachment hq) of Nurgle, psyker level 3, armour and wings, spell familiar, the Black Mace
Troops:
105 - Daemonettes of Slaanesh (10), ichon of chaos, promotion to alluress
95 - Plaguebearers of Nurgle (10), promotion to plagueridden
95 - Plaguebearers of Nurgle (10), promotion to plagueridden
50 - Cultists (10)
50 - Cultists (10)
Fast Attack
170 - Helldrake with baleflamer
Heavy support
170 - Soulgrinder of Nurgle, baleful torrent
170 - Soulgrinder of Nurgle, baleful torrent
Slaanesh daemon prince goes for telepathy hoping for puppet master, however the primaris is good too. He is on AT and AA duty with the lash (S6 rending and great mobility). Kairos provides great buffs (reroll warp storm, reroll 1D6 per player turn) and goes anti infrantry. Nurgle deamon prince rolls 3 powers from biomancy and goes against almost everything, though his favoured targets will be riptide/wraithlord and multiwounds units. I have 2 resilient scoring units, 2 cheap scoring units and a fast moving scoring unit. Character are there to mitigate a specific effect of warp storm while the icon is there in case I need to deepstrike a daemon prince or soulgrinder. A single helldrake for AA and MEQ. 2 Soulgrinders of Nurgle (2+ cover while 25% behind ruins for the lulz) with torrent for horde control.
Tactics:
I suppose that 3 torrent weapons will force my opponent into spreading his troops thus giving me more space to charge while avoiding terrains. Almost anything in the list is able to engage multiple types of targets. Troops are good in close combat too.
Slay the warlord should be easy to get with Kairos (beam psychic shooting attack) and a melee oriented and pretty fast unit (nurgle daemon prince). My warlord is pretty though on the other hand.
With good placing and reserving first blood shouldn't be an issue.
3 FMCs for linebreaker.
What I left out and what I'm not sure about:
I left out skull cannon of khorne because they seem to slow to keep pace with 3 FMCs. A cavalcade of slaanesh on the other hand seemed too fragile.
Soulgrinders equipment is really driving me mad. Phlemg bombardament seems good, but I'm concerned of BS3. Moreover it doesn't ignore cover. I was thinking about Slaanesh mark to get rending and get rid of slow and purposeful. However I don't think that soulgrinders will see much close combat and mark of Nurgle gives them a 2+ cover behind ruins.
Again I'd like any c&c. Keep in mind that i want to run this at competitive events. Thank you for your help.
