A friend came up with this scenario this evening and we decided to try it out. Spoilers used to minimize wall of text.
The Mission
Spoiler:
THE ARMIES Choose armies as normal. Due to the fact the defender gains free fortifications, the attackers gets an extra 1500 pts.
THE BATTLEFIELD The defender's deployment zone is within 24" of a short edge. The attacker's deployment zone is within 12" of the opposite edge. The defender sets up terrain. The defender can use any fortifications without cost and can place them within 3" of each other. The Defender also places a Generator in his deployment zone.
DEPLOYMENT Before deploying their forces, players should first roll for their Warlord Traits. The defender deploys first.
FIRST TURN The attacker goes first, unless the Defender can Seize the Initiative.
GAME LENGTH This mission uses Variable Game Length.
VICTORY CONDITIONS At the end of the game, the player who has scored the most Victory Points wins the game. If players have the same number of Vicotry Points, the game is a draw.
Primary Objective At the end of the game, if the Generator is destroyed the attacker receives 3 Victory Points. Otherwise, the defender gets 3 Victory Points. Units that are falling back at the end of the game, and units that are not on the board at the end of the game, count as destroyed for the purposes of this mission.
Secondary Objectives Each player has a secret objective determined randomly before the game starts: 1. Slay the Warlord 2. Exterminate the Elites: For each Elite unit killed, the player receives 1 Victory Point. 3. Assassinate the Heavies: For each Heavy Support unit killed, the player receives 1 Victory Point. 4. Slaughter the Troops: For each Troop unit killed, the player receives 1 Victory Point. 5. Crush the Quick: For each Fast Attack unit killed, the player receives 1 Victory Point. 6. Save the Warlord: If the player's Warlord is still alive at the end of the game, the player receives 4 Victory Points.
MISSION SPECIAL RULES Reserves

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.
Gozer the Gozerian, Gozer the Destructor, Volguus Zildrohar, Gozer the Traveler, and Lord of the Sebouillia
Unfortunately the pictures got corrupted. Stupid phone. So this will be a (poorly) written out bat rep. Next one will use a better camera, and should be a bit better.
Table set up: The Eldar (as the Defenders) got to set terrain.
In his deployment zone Skyshield Landing Pad against the back edge with Generator situated on top at the rear, and a Lascannon (Gun Emplacement) on the front edge. 2 dilapidated bastions with a Quad-gun on top in each corner, roughly 6" from both table edges. 2 Bunkers (small buildings) towards the front of his deployment zone, with a trench line running between them. From the table edge to the bunkers, and from the bunkers to the trench line were Aegis Defense Lines. Across the rest of the board were random bits of area terrain.
Deployment:
Eldar deploy first. Wraithknight, 1 squad of 20 Guardians, and Farseer started on the Skyshield Landing Pad. The Dark Reapers deployed on top of the Bastions manning the Quad-guns. The Rangers were deployed on top of the bunkers. The other squad of 20 Guardians deployed within the trench lines, and the last 2 squads were deployed within the bunkers (as I write this I realize that the two units of Guardians could not deploy in the bunkers as they consisted of 11 models. Oh well.). The Striking Scorpions deployed behind the trench, and both units of Swooping Hawks were in reserve.
Tyranids deployment:
One Tervigon deploys in each corner with a wall of Termagants in front of them. The Tyrant Guards with attached Hive Tyrant deploy in the middle of the deployment zone 12" from the short edge. The Hive Guard start on the far right, and the Biovores hunker down in some area terrain in the back corner. The Mawloc, Doom (in Spore), and all Genestealers start in reserve.
