It's been some time since I ordered bitz. Used to go through the warstore. Now I hear about the GW clampdown.

What are the options these days? Google turns up HoardOBits and Bitzbarn. And Ebay I guess. Any recommendations here?

Man, GW is just.....F those guys. They don't even have bitz of any significance through their own website! Can't even put together a box of terminators with all options because there's not enough shoulder pads? Too bad....

Pretty baffling. Has me discouraged on continuing with this as a hobby.

Thewarstore.com is my go-to, based in NY, quick service, and very polite from the communications I've made.

That's the thing : warstore has stopped selling bitz because of the new GW policy.

Oh (#*@, i was unaware of that... Now I'm bummed out. My only other option was bitzbarn, so I can't help you anymore than that. And, of course, Ebay.

Geez, I'm happier and happier I swapped over to Warmachine.

Blackdagger Games eBay store is my go-to choice for bits; awesome selection, fair prices, and quick shipping.

Ditto on black dagger. Best prices I have found on eBay. They messed up my order once, when I let them know about it they sent me the correct order and let me keep the other pieces. Above and beyond what was needed to keep me happy.

Another +1 for Black Dagger Games shop on eBay. Good selection, good pricing, insanely fast and fair shipping.

the key is to get bigger orders to save on shipping....as recent price hikes have hit a lot of them hard...

I've had good luck with Hoard o Bits and Blackdagger. I periodically order from other eBay stores as I find them (mostly to do with specific single bits).

I'm not aware of too many websites anymore, but eBay is a good source.

dakkadakka, put up a thread on the swapshop board asking for what you are looking for, and what you might like to pay.

eBay is your most likely place for cheap bits.

As others have said, Ebay is your best bet. If you search around there's some really good deals on bitz. If you can find a store that has multiple things you want it really helps on shipping.

Bitz barn is okay. I only used them once though. I placed a fairly large order and I had some bits missing. The customer service wasn't all that great, and it took him 3 weeks to settle the dispute. He did fix it though, so I can't complain too much.

Horde o bits is good. Most of his stuff is bulk though, and usually a little more expensive.

Bullet bits on ebay is great. I've bought a lot of bits from him. I have ordered and paid for bitz that he (unbeknownst to me) didn't have in stock. Customer service is great though and he quickly refunded the $$ for the bits that weren't in stock.

Bits Boys is another Ebay store that usually has a really good selection.

Another vote for Black Dagger - I've been looking for specific bits (a specific head, or a single figure with specific parts) and they've always been great about giving me exactly what I want as long as I ask when I order.

Black Dagger looks good but I'm based in the UK so the postage makes it too expensive unfortunately.

I've been using the-bitz-store on Ebay. not a bad selection and quick at posting.

there's Bitz Box (bitzbox.co.uk). UK based, provide quite a lot of bits, including Forge World stuff. They have problems with restocking their product because they use the loophole of buying kits in bulk and selling the bits separately, so you just better hope they stock up soon like I am. Other than that they seem good, I've never ordered because of the above reason still worth checking out

Chalk another up to Black Dagger. Also got a few of the wrong bitz, sent me new ones right away. They are practically the only place I go for bitz now.

hoardobits for me, havent tried black dagger. last order i made they mixed up, but after a while, they sent the good parts (6 lascannons)
I prefer their webstore, shipping to canada is reasonable, if you buy more than a few bags.

Battle road hobbies. Check them out, as sadly they are also closing down.
