there's a motivation that I can understand!
2nd was the edition that I first played - McDeath was a wonderful lark. Wish to heck that I still had it.
3rd edition remains my favorite - mine is now in a three ring binder, after the original binding failed. Each page in a protector....
I played it a couple of weeks ago - still a fun game, but gods above and below, you have to fiddle with balance!
The Auld Grump, I think that the reason that I still prefer it is the magic system - it feels more like magic to me than pulling cards from a deck.
