so my mate's dog nommed a devilfish (apparently the engines were the tastiest bits) and he's given it to me to loot.




This is my job so far - deffkopta as the pilot section, gorkamorka trukk rear wheels and wartrakk front wheel/trakk. I added the battlewagon section as the boomgun.

Any thoughts on what i can do about the eaten areas? they look like i could kinda paint them as exploded areas but I wondered if anyone had any ideas.

Add in rockets and exhausts and the like as if the Meks had upgrade the engines and then paint it up exploded or something.

Needs more red.

lol, when i saw it i thought "perfect, i'll keep that damage". i've picked up some hard straws to make exhausts out of, will just pile them sticking out of the hole.

Because I think the drone bits would be very crunchy and tasty.

This would be an excellent opportunity if you have ever thought of experimenting with LEDs.

If you haven't commenced painting cut out a compartment for a battery on the bottom, pick up some "flame" christmas bulbs to place at the end of the exhaust pipes, and some red/orange leds to give them light (I know you can get "rainbow" pulsing LEDs, not sure on ones to simulate a flame) And you would have an amazing table top piece. Wiring up LEDs in a model is cake, especially if you have as much real estate that a Tau vehicle provides.

I don't really have the time before the game I need it for to do anything like that, although it would be amazing. I've got a pile of mini speaker gubbins that might find their way into a stompa.
