This is my first video batrep, showing off my Eldar "all Aspect Warriors" list against my friend's Chaos "dogpile" list. Enjoy!

Enjoyable report. Great use of Baharroth early in the game to contain the large unit of Flesh Hounds led by Karanak. Thanks for sharing.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

Great report! Very interesting to watch!

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

Thanks for the battle report, it was a good idea to get Barroth in there to contain the dogs. I would have tried to assault as close to my board edge as possible so the great fat and tubby one would have a hard time getting to you, but in CC the hounds have to surround you anyway. I think Khorne's wrath ignores cover so I think the spiders should have just died as it is barrage and would have ignored your aegis line. Thanks for sharing the battle report. I have played Asurman in this new edition (d3) traits is nice, but have not played Barroth with the invuln save he finally got a bit better than he used to be. Potentially with your phoenix lord list, keeping 5 man squads of DA, dropping Asurman and adding in Maugan Ra with your Reapers. I think he may do more for you with your lists and then could save some points for more troops, a bike squad, something fast that scores. just a thought

Maugan Ra is the only P Lord I don't own right now, but you just gave me a good idea for him. I'm not generally a fan of the Maugetar for shooting, but maybe manning him on the Lascannon and having the Exarch shoot the Starshot missiles would be nasty. Particularly when you throw split fire in there, maybe upgrading the Exarch to Flakk as well, shooting at potentially two different fliers.

barrage doesn't ignore cover he mentioned that the blast landed on the opposite side of the ADL and since LOS is checked from the center of the template he still gets his cover saves.

Good batrep. Its nice to see lists that aren't the same blahh blahh blahh.

By the end of the video the turns seemed to drag on a bit the way that you explained every phase. Maybe try to summarize and recap after each players turn instead of each phase? At least in the late game when most of the armies are gone and there's not a whole lot to do.

Afterward I was thinking it drug on at the end as well, thanks for verifying that. I'll summarize more toward end game of the next batrep!
