Hi! I am currently building a WoC army and i only had a small thought.
It is so that i do not really like the chaos warhounds models wery much but they are needed in my army, but i do have a couple och goblin spider riders.
So what i was thinking was: is it okay to use the spiders instead of the warhounds? if i of course loose the goblin riders and use the warhounds rules.
any input would be nice, thank you!

As is the way of these things, it is purely up to your opponent.

There is no model in the WoC range your opponent could possible confuse such a small spider riding goblin for...I would think there would be no issues, just clarify what the model is before the match.

Most of the time a simple swap like this shouldn't have too many problems. Representation on the table top is designed to be so that the opponent knows what is where on the table an what each models is - typically all you need is the model and the primary weapon to be correct (honestly most upgrades are not needed; most people are not going to "see" grenades on a guardsman etc...).

So you should be fine with such a swap so long as you get the base size correct. The only times such swaps can be difficult is if you use a lot of them within a single army; that can lead to an opponent becoming more potentially confused;
The other time is during a major event where often the rules are more strict with regard to model appearance because organisers need simple, clear rules to keep the game even and fair for all. But again if its the only model in the army going that way and since spiders the size of wolves are pretty much a beast it shouldn't be a problem.

Honestly what is most important for game play is the base size.

Ah okey thank you all for the input!

The bases will be the same size as the hounds and i will simply check with the people at my local store before the game if it is okey. ^^

Convert away to your hearts content. As long as your opponent knows exactly what it is meant to represent they should be fine with it. Plus personally I love looking at opponents conversions they come up with. Gives me new ideas and inspiration for my own
