Maybe remove the extra armour on the dread and take multi melta for the LRC instead?

If you're gonna drop pod the Dread, why not let it keep the MM? You save 25 points, points better spent elsewhere. And melta range will make short work of any tanks nearby.
Giving all your infantry squads multi-meltas isnt smart, as the gun has too little range if they sit back, and if they move (even inside a rhino) they cant fire it.
Also, you cant field 5 Predators, so your list is illegal.

Hmm, what do you suggest i'd take instead of the MMelta, Las maybe?
I was told that when I have 2 HQ's with 4 troops I can field two army rosters thus a total of 6 predators, that is not true?
This is my first army and I don't have the rulebook, so im pretty much looking things up on google or asking it here.

The command squad does not take up an HQ slot. If you took a 2nd HQ, then yes, you could field 6 HS, but only if you field 4 Troops, and also only for 2000 points games or higher.

Hmm, i thought i had added in a chaplain! I'll dive in the codex once more and adjust a few things
So what should i take instead of MM for my infantry? I really like the looks of heavy bolters, but are they of any use?

Only if you are fighting nids or Orks.
Otherwise, every other (non MM) weapon is a better investment.
Personally I am a big fan of Plasma Cannons. It will always make your MEQ opponent break a sweat.
Otherwise go for Lascannons and convert a 5 man squad into a tank hunting unit.
