there is about 10,000 points of guard here haha

thats not including my Mech vets 2000pt army that is on my shelf at the moment

Looks like a good purchase! A lot of models and most look like they are only undercoated so no stripping nightmare to go through!

Surprised it went for so little, but then again armies nearly always go for less on ebay.

Looks like you'll have a mammoth job getting the whole army painted up

I'd say it was a fair price. I would have tried to pay 250 euros for half the lot, but hand picked most of it.

Well i think it was a good buy

There is also a 12 man squad of Death korps from Forge world (10 man squad + the extra hvy flamer guys)

I will be batch painting for the next 3 years haha

No real stripping of paint reguired i will just not use the models he painted , there is some really old models 1st edition guardsmen with flamers and granade launchers

10 Metal ratlings , 10 metal snipers , 30 storm troopers in 20 older models , 9 leman russes , 3 baneblades , 12 armoured sentinals metal versions , 3 basalisks , 3 hell hounds ,3 chimeras and a forge world tank hunter

Not a bad collection really

Yes he was just selling the baneblades to start with bit then he mailed me the whole list and i couldnt refuse

I noticed this too. It either looks like some sort of SOB style religious/command vehicle, or a conversion based on the FW Armegeddon Basilisk. Either that or he wanted an enclosed cabin

Dayam. That was like when I bought my Sisters of Battle army for $200.

Came with karamazov, 100 Sisters of battle, about 20 Special Weapon sisters and 20 heavy Weapons. I got 7 Rhinos with it, 5 of them the older Sisters of Battle style, and then there were the canoness, repentias, the 20 seraphim...

I could go on. But um yeah. It was a deal like this. Once in a lifetime kinda value.

Looks great! you've got a nice mix of models, maybe too many sentinels (I actually like the things, but there's a point where you've got 'enough'), but three baneblades and the FW Destroyer is awesome.

All being only primed or assembled is even better; worst you'll have to do is pick some bits off you don't like or want to switch, then get to work.
